Fixing the issue with looping once and for all + End camping for killers
I have played this for about 60-100 hours, so i'm not entirely a st*pid noob, but i'm not that great either, ill admit that, and I am level 14, so yes, my ranking "sucks" thus my gameplay, but that's beyond the point, as we all face the same problem.
The survivors running around.
Now, I play as both survivor and killer, and I enjoy both equally (except when I rage).
- Here is the short answer for how to stop looping once and for all:
When a hunter is chasing a survivor, if a player is in the same radius (R) more than (X) seconds, in other words starting/wanting to loop, increase the hunters speed by X-times or more. That way, a survivor wont stay in the same place and an actual hunt can start.
(Someone who plays this game alot can come up with the timing and radius. Think of looping zones.)
- There is BBQ and Chilli, which is absolutely insane OP according to me. Against a great killer you are screwed, now remember I am not one of those that counts the microseconds on how long an animation takes, so I am strictly talking from a casual gameplay perspective.
Either way, solution to the darn camping of hunters:
Simply decrease the sacrifice time so much that if the other players are repairing the generators, they can basically finish them off, well before a sacrifice is made, then the hunter actually has to go out and hunt, HOWEVER, for rewarding the hunter to go out hunting, if the hunter is out there whilst having a player on the hook, the hunter move 2x faster, + and whisper is accurate up to a 5 meter radius, so that the hunter is very close to the victim and basically can find the survivor. Once they find another survivor, the speed is only increased to 1x faster.
This way, the hunter will have to leave and go chasing instead of camping. Now this wont always be perfect, but that is what I came up with.
IDK, maybe I haven't reached those levels where its a totally different game, so I am talking as someone on a casual level rank 14 player.
ALSO do something about a survivor running back towards the hunter (dodging), that just doesn't/shouldn't happen, unless he/she is the hero of the film. That's just ridiculous as a hunter to miss a player turning and running back against you.
Well, maybe im wrong, you tell me. I am not trying to start something flammable here, its just my humble opinions, please keep it straight, and respectful, if you disagree, no problem, come with some better solution.
Lets keep this going and change these things that is killing the game.

"and whisper is accurate up to a 5 meter radius"
i want to clarify, I am not to sure about the radius.I took the radius out of thin air, but what I want/mean by that is,
When you hook someone and leave, and you wisper, its very hard to leave, cause you know they are right around the corner, in that way, if you make you perimeter check, you can easily see if anyone is around.
I would even go as far as to say, that make it like a different sound if someone is relatively close to your hooked survivor, to let you know, that they are very very close.
That way, I will now if someone is around and waiting to unhook someone, and start a chase of them instead and not camping.
I hope that clears it up a little.

Okay, couple things. The sacrifice time is a crucial component, if you shorten it as baseline (i.e. without the help of a perk that has weaknesses or can be countered in some way), it tilts the game to a huge advantage in the Killer’s favor... the Survivors need a fair amount of time to rescue each other. Same goes for increasing Killer speed in any way. The only instance where I do advocate a speed buff is for toxic looping as you said, however Bloodlust is a speed buff already. I know what you’re trying to say, and I do understand this problem isn’t properly addressed by Bloodlust.2

I really don't feel like the bloodlust really addresses the problem, as the survivors still keep looping and looping.
The thing with zones would be that if a players tries to loop within say 3 zones of looping (zones=looping places that are adjacent/connected to eachother).
That way, if a players makes it across the other side of the map (or a bit farther away), they can do another loop and try to get away. Also, that way, it wont be a "tactic" anymore to try and loop the hunter a couple of times, and if all else fails, drop the pallet.

Glad that we feel the same way.
Felt so alone on this issue.0 -
why cant people suggest a buff to killers who are not camping, but instead ask for nerfs for the ones that do so? ;-;
im soooo tired of posts like that .-.

We don't need to find solutions to "camping", we need to realize WHY killers are camping. The answer is the game isn't even close to balanced, that's why there is currently so much camping. Balance the game and we fix camping.

no.
your solution was to decrease the sacrifice time when the killer is camping, which is clearly a nerf.
also you wanted to nerf BBQ, as its "absolutely insane and OP", to put it in your words.0 -
Yeah you are right Mister_xD
My idea was to try to encourage not camping, and I think BBQ&Chili is not just a hint, as soon as you hook someone, you get to know where the others are to, and its not just an estimate, its basically if they are not standing next to the survivor, they are seen, and if you are billy, then you are there basically in 3 heartbeats.
I have played against people that handle it well (remember, im just a level 14, so I am not that great at the game), and those who handle it, handle it too well.
Well, those were my thoughts anyways, maybe im wrong. Oh well...
