Ability to make custom game solo for crying out loud

I want to learn certain maps layouts. I want to be able to test out certain killers.

I don't like that the only way to test these out is if you have a friend willing to do this with you.

Why can't I just load up as a survivor or killer, join whichever realm/map I want in a solo custom game???
