Thrilling Tremors Perk Question

A scenario:

Survivor A is working on a gen. I hit and down Survivor B. I pick him up. Survivor A is still working on the gen.

I carry Survivor B to a hook and during this time, Survivor A stops working on the gen. Is that gen now blocked by Thrilling Tremors?

    Nope it is not. The perk get only activated by the picking up animation and not by the carrying animation
