Cross progression?

I am new to this forum but I am sure this isn't a new topic, but is there any glimmer of hope that we might get PSN/XBOX cross progression at any point? I understand many of the economic issues involved, but still hope to might be an option.

I started playing DBD last year while in living arrangements that kept me from having my PC gaming rig set up, and played on PS4 (and later PS5). I got addicted to the game and now that I have my setup together I'd like to start playing on PC, but I've invested so much time (and not a small amount of money) into console DBD that I just can't justify starting from scratch.

I might do it at some point, but only if I feel like it's a hopeless cause.

    Probably not, if they had plans to they would have said so.

    They want money, not convenience.
