I have been trying to think of general gameplay tweaks that might help playing killer not be an exercise in self-grief.

  1. Exit gate regression. I have been a fan of this idea for a long time. 99ing gates and having the whole team leaving them for minutes at a time only to return as a body blocking party and tap to open them should not be a thing. At the very least the killer should be able to smack the gate switch to regress them.
  2. Permanent boon snuffing. I don't feel like this is controversial or needs explaining.
  3. Increase the minimum time it takes for a survivor to stop a gen's regression (as in no more run by tapping). Or greatly decrease gen kicking time, whatever, but they should be even.
  4. Increase medkit self healing time.
  5. Cap map size, reducing the oversized maps. Many killers are just crippled by large maps.
  6. Get rid of the corn. Because f corn, that's why.

I'm sure there are more ideas, but those seem pretty reasonable (except the corn, I wasn't being entirely serious).

    1) Cool idea but when was the last time you actually had enough time to smack a gate and come back to the survivor you should be securing? It should naturally regress imo.

    2) If they want boons to come back repeatedly make it so that snuffing it brings back your hex

    3) Yes this should have been a thing gen tap is stupid and undoes the killer investing his time kicking a generator in a split second

    4) I don't think they should increase medkit self healing time unless you have perks to do increase it but put a cap on healing speed.

    I see, I've read your suggestions but I have one glaring issue with them.

    How do these improve the survivor experience?

    The corn especially - what other food source will they have access to in the Entity's realm?

    That's easy......Dwight Dogs.......yup good food of the gods! Or well The Entity at least MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Also they don't they are general balance issues that would make the game more balanced.

    Throwing that bit in there about smacking the gate was a throwing a bone to the survivors; you're right of course, the gate should start regressing the second the survivor takes their hand off of it.

    1) Gate give points for opening. Survivors can abuse gate regression to get more points.

    Maybe better idea is to let killer block the gate permanently at the cost of instantly opening the other one?

    2) Snuffing boons permanently sounds good.

    3) Like adding 3 sec of not doing process when gen is recessing (failed skill check does that)? That can prevent survivors from swarming the last gen, more opportunities to grab.

    4) Medkits are mostly fine, just it's bad that they stack with CoH.

    5) Strongly disagree :) Some maps work good for one killer and bad for another. Still it's mostly balanced, aside number of pallets you need to face.

    6) Corn can be fun. Just make "popcorn" - get grab from generator, hook, PGTW, repeat.
