Why does Pig's ambush sound like a lion?
Some people saying Pig's ambush is useless. I can't agree. It's nice for surprising survivor at gens and to catch survivor backwards at loopings.
Maybe it's the roar which is starting too loud for a stealthy ambush that let average survivor avoid the hit?
The pallet stun sound is cute and should be never changed (never!!) but it tilts me everytime that Samantha is just a lion while attacking. Imagine Myers would ambush you and hiss like a cat. Damn, ok I dont get this out of my head now..
So maybe change the roar to an immersive, loud breathing which sounds like a person attacking you.

I could be mistaken, but I believe I read somewhere that it's a SAW thing.
I disagree on surprising Survivors because it's less efficient than just uncrouching and M1ing, and I disagree on loops because 1) it generally only works on loops that already are not great 2) it still relies 100% on your opponent making the wrong read 3) just dropping the pallet essentially makes the ambush worthless

I like the roar because it lets me oink at people. You haven't Pigged until you've crouched and spammed the ambush button at someone.
It is pretty terrible for ambush attacks unless you're right on top of the player and they're in a dead zone, though. TAG is right that uncrouching and M1ing is a better use of her stealth and likelier to catch people off guard (in addition to applying M1 perks that the charge doesn't.) The charge doesn't last long enough to catch someone at a distance or function as an anti-loop tool unless you're at a short pallet loop and standing on the pallet when you start.

Ah! A moment I forgot the ambush spam. It's always nice to communicate with the survs like this, youre right. Ok, ok ambush spam beats breathing.
A SAW thing, ok I didn't know that.
Sure, I'm using ambush only situational, uncrouching and m1 is faster. Sometimes I'm catching survivor with a fake ambush at the pallet, but this is not working everytime. And if I can't reach the survivor on the other side, I can still intimidating them with my angry ambush spam. 😂
