I'm a killer main. I'm still having fun. Still getting kills. But 4k isn't always my goal either. Heck I even played survivor and a Ghostface had fun woth everyone and the snowmen. I made made him kill me at the end so he could get a little more BP but he wouldn't. So I died by end game collapse

Dude, it throws a wrench in the entire creation process. Nobody is tuning in to watch me screw around with a bunch of balloon snowmen and make next to zero exciting plays in a holiday environment that only adds on to the overabundant pile of holiday content already inundating our day to day lives. So it would be great if the team would just give people the silly holiday art through the tome in the future rather than messing around with gameplay elements and curbing normal operation for 2 weeks.

What's with the couch coins you get for using the snowmen? Escaping with a snowman should give you a small fortune, not 1500 points.😬

Event is really frustrating for Killer. Why do you give the survivors extra health states as a holiday event? How does that even make sense?
It makes me sad because the new killer is probably one of the best designed in a long time and the event just drains all my motivation to play.

Well alot of us normal players don't care that the %1 are having fun. Having balanced and fair matches are fun.

Everytime I play killer and I hit a survivor that's hidden insidw a snowman, I do get the snowflakes around me, but I won't get any gifts. Is it only possible to acquire one gift per day?

It's one unlock per match, if you have the sparkles around your screen you get the cosmetic. Are you sure you didn't get anything?
Keep in mind the unlock pops up in the tally screen and you might have skipped it.

The thing is the maps need deadzones. Maps shouldn't contain safe tiles everywhere. That's the issue now with maps like Badham and other maps with safe tiles into more tiles. Autohaven has a good balance of safe and dead zones.

I don't disagree. But it is something that could be considered, if not in all dead-zones, a few. Could be related to Offerings or whatnot similar to the Oak Offerings.

more proof that the balance team and devs in general give literally 0 crap about killers. #changemymind. I want to break it down for those that disagree
lets say you INSTANTLY find a survivor at the start of the match and you chase said survivor and quickly get your first hit im gonna be generous and say 15 seconds ok so 15 seconds for first hit then 20 seconds total chase for 2nd hit then we will say another 8 seconds to get them on a hook and you will instantly find another survivor and start chase now with that you have a total of 8.6 minutes of chase and hits to get your 12 hooks. 1 survivor by themselves doing the gens is 400 seconds, ill add 60 for travel time. so you are at 7.6 minutes. keep in mind thats with literally 0 looking time or kicking gens or ANYTHING ELSE for the killer and just 1 single survivor doing gens and the survivors objective is done faster than killers. on top of that you have deactivating boons or literally anything else besides holding w survivors with no looping or pallets. and now you add snowmen who if the survivor knows you will catch up to them will jump into a snowman and get a free sprint burst away....... yea devs give 0 crap of balance team. I CHALLENGE THE BEST MEMBER OF BALANCE TEAM TO GO AGAINST A B TIER SWF on dbd stream with survivors rocking even kinda meta perks and lets see how well they do. im really curious.

Nice event, great to see new mechanics being added instead of blighted gens/hooks type of stuff only affecting visuals and BP gain.
Most fun I had in DbD in a while.

Did you guys just decide to screw the killers this event? You guys gave them nothing but a couple reskins and have to hit survivors an extra time. They didn't get any new event add on, no nothing. All

Killers got nothing but frustration from this event. Survivors got the better cosmetics and they actually get to use the snowmen

Let's see Survivors got....snowbois.....fireworks (that's makes absolutely no sense)......cooler cosmetics (pun INTENDED)....and a extra healthstate and toxic tactics.....

You can get a customisation for any character regardless of the role you play.
However, if a survivor escapes in a snowman it's that survivor that will get the random cosmetic. Hitting a survivor in the snowman will give the killer a cosmetic or being hit whilst inside the snowman will give that survivor the cosmetic.

Just curious, are they gonna extend the event like most of the events?
I already have my cosmetics, but I find the snowmen really fun (yes, even as killer).

Okay, no problem. At least we got some pictures off the snowmen haha.
Would be nice if we could costumise KYF lobbies with things like the snowmen and other stuff out other events :P
