Console - Switch: Characters Freezing/Teleporting During Pallet Drops/Stuns
This seems to have begun after the Portrait of a Murder release. Occasionally, while playing survivor during chase, I will press the “drop pallet” button, only for my character to freeze in place for about 1-2 seconds, after which I will either get hit through the pallet, or, if the stun is registered, will cause the killer to teleport back into the pallet. My ping has been stable during these instances, and as far as I can tell, it’s not due to the killer’s ping either (the killer’s gameplay & reaction time always seems fairly normal up until this happens). I haven’t tried to recreate this as killer yet, and as far as I know it’s pretty random, making it difficult to intentionally recreate. I unfortunately don’t have footage, as the Switch’s gameplay recording features were disabled for DbD a few months ago, otherwise I would post it here.
