There should've been a way for the killers to enter the snowman too

That would be cool but on the technical side it would maybe mean making 26 additional sets of animations because every killer has unique weapons.

They could have their basic kit changed to the snowman's, like the Blight event around halloween

Only if it hides their TR entirely. Imagine a snowman shuffling towards you, only for a Bubba to pop out and mow you down.
