Perk colours - Purple/green

Do we really need these two different colours for perks, I mean the only thing that really matters is what tier it is? Id rather the colours depict what tier the perk actually is -

Yellow tier 1
Green tier 2
Purple Tier 3

Right now I think the colours AND the tiers is only confusing to newer players - and that's coming from me bedding in 5 or six brand new dead by daylight players and reoccurring questions to myself.

    or what about a brown tier 0 where the perk is literally only a fraction of tier 1

    The colors are indeed confusing, and mostly an artefact of the old colors (They simply removed the ultra rare color)

    The colours are really just completely redundant at this point, but I think if reworked may be useful, especially for new players looking at a bloodweb

    Completely, I've seen several new players wanting to have "the better version of Iron Grasp 3, because mine is green, and I want the rare version".
    Basically, people were confused for no reasons.

    I'd love to see them combo this idea and solve the the missing UR-level perks in one move. They could make all perks the same tier set and make the three different levels Brown/Green/Pink.

    exactly - the amount of questions like - "Is your purple perk better than my green one? I have three ticks and you have 3 as well...must be more special right?"

    Just to make it visually easier to identify on the bloodweb what you want or where you want to go - it's great for long term players as we know what and were we want to go but new players not so much, just thinking on the ethos of the new tutorial system and focus on making new players get in and play better

    Though the colours are based on usefulness/power, which is why I want the Ultra Rare tiers to return.
    Ultra rare tiers = S tier
    Purple = A Tier
    Green = B Tier
    Yellow = C Tier

    We can all agree not all purple perks are A tier but above. Plus the more colourful the more pretty, bringin the gay into DBD via perks are the homos global objective! We must prevail!

    I don't want them to get the ultra rare color back for one thing : it would make bloodwebs more expensive since ultra-rare "items" are more expensive.
    They should just normalize all perks colors, possibly making them either all green, or all purple at rank 3, would fix the matter

    I do agree, I don't think there is a need for the UR perks to return, how do you decide what's a UR perk, I mean you have three tiers already, you wont get a 4th tier so do you pick UR perks based on perk tier lists? I think its just messy if you cinluded that

    The purple not datttttt pretty if theyre ALL purple :(

    But I always questioned why the perks that go
    Tier I - Green
    Tier II - Purple
    Tier III - Purple

    To me it just makes sense that S, A, B, C tiers should all exist.

    I had have Tier III - Greens - Just to really make it pointlessly confusing.

    Under my suggestion, it actually wouldn't make the bloodwebs more expensive. Right now buying a set of perks is either 14000, 15000, or 17000; if they split them all to be Common/Rare/Ultra Rare they would all be 15000. It would either be negligibly more expensive or cheaper.

    They're alphabetical until they're in different 'rarity' categories...

    It makes no sense to break alphabetical order by COLOR too.
