Wow, playing killer in 2021 is so fun right??
Honestly, whatching this makes me very sad about the game. Litterally a bully simulator, be honest, why would a person play killer? Personally, i have 2500 hours, i play both sides at mid/ high mmr, and be honest, why would a person play killer? The purpose of the MMR was to find you more and more difficult games with the accumulation of victories, but this apply only on killers matches, because on the survivor side is quite the opposite, the real challenging matches as a survivor are those at the low mmr, because it puts you in a team with low skill people which will most likely be the cause of your death in game, while at the high mmr you find capable Survivors who abuse the broken mechanics of the game and the game is easier and chill, with the result in which the killer makes 4 hooks and everyone escapes more easily.
Personally, I rarely die when I play Survivor, at most they can only kill me if they tunnel and camp, but then everyone else would escapes.
Vote up if you agree.

Even Otz will, at times, admit Survivors have too much power. And that dude is about as chill as can be.

How do you even know your MMR is mid/high?

I watched about half of it before stopping. It sounds like this is a big name streamer so I'm sure he's used to this kind of thing but I'm pretty sure I'd have either quit the match about 3 minutes in or just stood in the corner and let them be annoying to their heart's content while I go watch TV or something.
These are the kinds of squads that are causing killers to quit. Just absolutely nothing you can do about it and BHVR seems to have no intention of doing anything to help so...
Thankfully this kind of squad is very very rare but still, all it takes is an average killer one bad night of getting a game or two like this and the game goes right in the trash.

He could of deep wounded them so they couldn't keep getting into lockers? I can understand the frustration though.
Unless locker saves were removed I don't see much counterplay other than Lightborn.
The survivors used that map offering for a reason, they've got it down. Map offerings should be removed.
15 -
Completely agree, map offerings are just stupid.
5 -
Because i play a lot, survivor i win a lot, killer is the mid mmr one.
0 -
These people are sad. Guaranteed none of them have a significant other or fulfilling employment
15 -
Offerings in general are stupid.
Survivors: Get 4 offerings (1 each) to alter the state of the game, or change where the map goes.
Killers: Get 1 offering to do the exact same thing.
Such balance, much wow.

This is what the devs need to see, and nerf from here. This is pathetic. I get swfs like this too. Not as bad, but even so I'd never entertain this. I'd DC.
This isn't a game. This is a bully fest. Nobody wants this except OChido wannabe weebs
Kudos to Tru for staying so cool, and using this as a lesson instead of doing what those guys clearly wanted, and freaking out.
Something needs to be done.

He also said Killers are the power role by having a stream where he just uses every busted add ons for every killer and played optimally which is aka very unfair to the survivors. So I really don't know what his actual stance is but I heard more about him thinking the game is killer sided.
7 -
Also survivors have perks that apply to other Survivors, like the boons, one totem can have 3 effects, so one survivor can legit have 7 perks.
7 -
But it was super important to nerf Undying, though. Because heaven forbid Killer perks stick around for more than the first 15 seconds of a match.

You kind of answered your own question there, you tunnel and camp. There's not enough time to go for 12 hooks when the gens will be done in six minutes. Survivors at high MMR are also hook-swarmers, every team is a team that usually survives. The only way to extend that six minutes is by creating a situation that gets them off gens, or kill them faster. Hard camping gets them off gens, tunneling makes them die faster.
It's still fun. It was more fun before MMR.

What does the video have to do with MMR?
0 -
Yeah, I stopped watching Tru a couple weeks ago, he’s a good player but I got tired of listening to him whine all the time.
6 -
That not at all true. Almost everyone who plays the game for any length of time agrees it is survivor sided
27 -
Yes.
0 -
Sounds like the game being inherently broken not that it's high mmr
1 -
Tournament players say the game is survivor sided is that better you?
Ever wonder why certain things are banned in tourney? There's a reason for it
12 -
This is why I bring Franklin's every single game.
1 -
Competitive DbD has a custom list of survivor perks for every single killer that are banned because they completely shut down the killer's power. Some killer lists are longer than others, but just about everybody has something.
The game as it is normally is in no way competitive. Perks are not even remotely balanced against all killers.

Excuuuuuse me. I am Killer Iri1! Duh.

Lmao look at that stupid BS at 1:40, the Meg made the dumbest mistakes possible and STILL makes it to a pallet thanks to Dead Hard.
What an awful, awful perk that genuinely ruins the game.
17 -
Those survivors reached the point where holding m1 for 5 minutes and escaping with a "ggez" isn't fulfilling anymore. So they also need to bully the other side, to get their kicks off.
The number of those players is sadly increasing. But be rest assured, that nothing will be done about it. Because it doesn't happen often enough for the devs to notice.

I never understand why people try to make grand statements off videos like this. He's playing arguably the worst killer in the game vs. a very solid 3 man. Everyone agrees Legion should be buffed and he would have done better with a stronger killer. What argument is even being made? We are all the same page that Legion blows.
4 -
The problem is them abusing mechanics such as simply hiding in lockers and being invincible because of their teammates with flashlights. This simply shouldn't be a thing, there is no way to counter it. No, literally just abandoning the Survivor in the locker is not a "counter", it is an unfortunate result of bad design.

Maybe im an outlier but the only problem I have with lockers is when they are side by side and people chain blind until their flashlights drain. Even then that's only when there are two survivors left and they're just wasting my time. Otherwise they are both being useless and I can just find the other two on gens.
Chasing anyone in the main building is a death sentence. Good killers will literally give that Gen away for free because of how dumb the main building is.
Also he could have just you know, Frenzy hit them so they'd bleed out in the locker.
4 -
I will never forget when he went against a tourney team really thinking that moonwalking on safe pallets would actually work.
3 -
So you're saying he lost cause he played like #########??
4 -
Alright, so I'm not gonna sit here and say that playing against squads like that is fun. It isn't. But he made numerous tactical mistakes that screwed him over.
First one is that... the Survivors cannot win the game if they stay at that very strong main building 24/7. They just can't. There's only 1 gen there. So... as Legion what you need to do is Frenzy somebody (injured or not) who's at the main building to spot people who aren't at the main building anymore with KI and go after them. Break chase any time anyone gets back to the main building. If they fully recover, even with CoH it'll cost them 28s. If they don't fully recover, then you can pick them off when they next leave it. Let them have that as their fortress, while you bleed all the safety out of the rest of the map.
Second one is I'm about 80% certain he forgot that Deep Wound can down. A nifty solution that Legion can do with locker saves like that is... Frenzy them and then camp them if they get in a locker. They go down and you get to eat some of their bleed out bar.
Third thing is that he didn't commit to a course of action. He needed to decide if he was going to go for a bleed out win or win by powering through their flashlights. If you go for the first... especially against that team, you don't pick up, you camp out the guy on the floor once you get a down. obviously he didn't do that. If you go for the second, ram your face right into those flashlights every single time you can. Eventually they'll run out of battery and the shenanigans will stop. He obviously didn't do that either because he constantly broke chase with people who hopped in lockers.
Fourth... just overall he did not use his power well. I realize that they stayed injured a ton which lowers Frenzy's value, but even just inflicting Deep Wound buys 12s. Also as mentioned above, FF can both prevent locker shenanigans and let you spot people in worse positions.
Edit: Fifth... That has got to be one of the riskiest builds you could *ever* run as Legion. Here's a tip for anyone wanting to play Legion. One of Legion's biggest weaknesses is getting downs. What you should never ever do is run 3 perks that do nothing without downs and nothing to help you get them. This guy practically only had Deadlock doing anything at all.

Where did she make a mistake?
Unless you mean Tru3 falling for the old window fake.
She could have easily had Lithe instead of DH and gotten even more distance from that vault she did. So I don’t see where the problem is when the perk is working as intended.
5 -
Except that the devs do and have done this. Most can’t use Nurse, but she was hit with the nerf hammer. Same with slinger and Ph
9 -
Same and i dont care if i get hate for it, the game is already survivor sided so why not even the odds a bit.
2 -
Yes, maybe he could have played better. Maybe he could have focused on how Legion in particular has a power that lets you punish people for locker squatting in your face.
I don't think how either of these points detract from the fact that the survivors could easily have finished the last two gens and cleared out about ten minutes earlier than they actually did bother to do it. They were, literally, toying with the Killer because they could, and there is no recourse a Killer player has in that situation except to go AFK and not play--something which, done consistently, is more likely to punish the Killer.
14 -
Yeah he maybe would have done batter with a better killer and as much as I do love legion they suck but isn't that showcasing another of dbds major flaws I payed for that killer but playing him isn't an option if I want to have a fair match and don't get bullied? That's not how it's supposed to be
11 -
MMR isn't the problem. MMR just exposes bad killer-balance. dev have entire 2022 and many mid-chapter patches to improve killer gameplay. unfortunately, most of resources as tru3 states in the video are spent on weakening killers like deathslinger, freddy etc. 2022 holds many possible mid-chapter patches so hopefully its better than 2021 for killer.
0 -
Oh, a tru3-vid. Some time since we had one of those. At least it is not one where someone wants to claim that the game is so broken with the proof of a tru3-video where he 4Ks in the end.
But from previous videos, he probably made a bunch of mistakes. I have seen him play Oni and not slugging with Infectious Fright (which is nice from him, but this is not how Oni works) or playing Clown where his Bottle Throws were horrible. I dont know if I will watch this Legion-video, I cannot really stand this guy with his contant complaints and unreasonable ideas anymore.

Most people have mid/high mmr since the way they handle it is that you have you're actual mmr and then they have a matchmaking cap so that people who play and win the vast majority of their matches don't have 4 hour long queue times but the matchmaking cap is so low that most killers will hit the cap since its so much easier to get mmr with killers. most survivors will get to it too but I know they increase the cap behind the scenes as well without any kind of announcement and I doubt it coincides with rank reset or maybe it does idk

She literally was AFK and then vaulted back through the window for no reason, that play was awful lmao
Dead Hard saved her 1000%.
1 -
What does he mean by auto dead hard?
0 -
Basically, it's possible to have a tool that will press the dead hard button for you when you would get hit (because the client needs to know the Killer is swinging before the attack hits to start playing the animation). Anyone using that, aside from the obvious "they're cheating" aspect, is literally impossible to bait out because they will always dead hard only when you'd hit them.
9 -
She was AFK and took a hit for not being ready to play.
She faked the window and Tru3 fell for it, instead of waiting. So she had time to fast vault the window, to reposition herself.
All I am saying is either way, even if she had decided to continue to go forward downstairs and dead hard to the window. She played it well, and bought herself more time. Because had he waited he would have been able to bait DH out with no pallet on sight.
At 4:38 you can see where he actually did wait it out and she didn’t position herself correctly. Because she hoped he would swing at the window.
3 -
I actually just watched the video for context and what are you even on about. There is literally no scenario in which the killer wasn't completely responsible for not getting a hit there. Fell for a window fake, somehow gives her a fast vault back into him while having a very slow reaction to it, all of which leads to a chain of events that result in a flashlight save. Despite him saying the survivors were trash out of frustration, the Meg actually did an extremely smart play with what she had. That wasn't a mistake, she intentionally fast vaulted back into him, which means she had to intentionally angle herself awkwardly to do it. Legion is awful and its unlikely anyone would 4k this but Dead Hard was not the problem there.
2 -
You can personally attack the streamer all you want, you can harp on his mistakes, you can put on the blinders.
But if you truly cannot see the problem with this kind of playstyle, unmitigable abuse, mechanical exploitation, then it's something beyond whataboutism, your bias is just extreme and you should just admit it.
19 -
I now watched the first 5 minutes. And obviously he has to mention that it was a viewer build he was using aka it is not his fault that he lost (even tho, Plaything, No Way Out and Deadlock have decent Slowdown-Potential, if you actually get hooks).
However, I dont really get why he even left the Quentin at the start. Yes, you injure multiple people with Legion, but the only two Survivors he saw where at the Saloon. Why would any Killer go to the Saloon to chase people, when an injured Survivor is nearby?
And second, two times in those 5 minutes he has all Survivors on one spot, so why not trying to frenzy them at this point? Again, waste of time and it makes it impossible to do Locker Techs.
3 -
I love the comment section. So many captain hindsights analysing what he has done wrong and how he could outplay.
The outcome of it is, game is totally balanced, now we only need to nerf NOED, becouse its stupid that i get punished for genrush
13 -
Here's what I see as the problem, though: does it matter how many mistakes the Killer is making if none of his actions (and in particular his derping around with those messing with lockers) is actually prohibiting the Survivors from clearing all the gens and getting out, and still there's another 10 minutes of video to watch before they choose to leave?
Is the game in a good state if, for whatever reason, the Killer can't win and the otherside can but won't?
12 -
I stopped playing killer 6-7 months ago and turned into solo survivor 100%. If every killer did this they have to do something about the situation. Simply play survivor until they fix things! Or they will never fix anything.
3 -
Didn't you know that only survivor is allowed to be a snoozefest because "99% of people just wanna chill with friends"?
Don't you dare complain when obviously killer is the easiest it's ever been.
Baby killers only want ez 4ks all the time smh.
6 -
I love how when someone posts a gameplay video showcasing glaring balance issues, there are always these professional gameplay reviewers pop up, who search under a microscope for tiny mistakes, and claim after that he should've just played better.
