Circle of healing is OP...?
Is it just me or CoH is just completely busted. Please share your opinion!
I like the idea of boon totems, I think re-blessing a totem them over and over again is a problem and I would probably add a 60 or 90-second cooldown on the perk after it's been snuffed, so that the killer has actually some reason to snuff it (currently it makes no sense in terms of time efficiency), but at least while the survivors are blessing a totem they are not on gens.
While Exponential is heavily AOE dependent (it's hard to crawl into its area) and shadowstep's effect is useful, but a bit situational and not Incredibly powerful, Circle of Healing's 2 powers are useful in all the games (except maybe Plague) and quite frankly, feels busted.
It gives you 2 (or even 3) powers
(please note the description is actually wrong, and it says it gives you a 100% healing speed buff. This is not correct, since it only gives you the healing speed buff while healing others)
1) Ability to heal yourself to EVERYONE in the team. This is not self-care, which has a built-in penalty to speed. This is a legit self-heal with a green medkit. This heal is 16 seconds. Every time you do this you save 16 seconds (if someone else heals you, you would both use 16 seconds). You do have to run into the boons area, of course, but otherwise, it would take time to find a teammate to heal you. Fun fact: you can see the boon 24/7 in the map, finding a teammate is not always as easy.
2) Healspeed buff. Basically an incredibly strong reset-option for the survivors
3) Healspeed while on the ground. This is technically the same as 2), but I feel like it's important to mention that you also have a strong heal speed to people on the ground, which is an insane snowball counter. This usually is not a huge issue, since in this case the area restriction of the boon actually finally matters... (This bonus is usable against Plague, and useful, too, since she relies on snowball many times)
This boon is much stronger than other current boons, and it's enough to bring 1 of these perks into a team, to give the effect to all 4 survivors.
Suggestions to nerf the perk:
1) Make this a 1-time blessing, unable to use after snuffing the totem. As mentioned earlier another option is to give the boon a cooldown, but I feel like CoH has to have a higher cooldown than most boons. Every time a survivor is blessing a totem and the killer decides to snuff it, it's actually the survivor winning time since snuffing is not time efficient.
2) Delete the healing speed part. Does the perk really need it? Imagine you have a healing station where anyone can heal themselves in 16 seconds. I even think if the self-healing was 24 seconds, it'd still be a useful perk.
3) Keep the healing speed buff, but remove the option to self-care. This way the perk is gonna turn into a very powerful reset tool for the survivors but requires team cooperation to go into the area.
Please if you have other ideas or you disagree with anything I said above, let me know! I feel conflicted because the perk is in the game for... 3 months? More...? I was worried about it since day 1 of the release and it's still in the game without any communication from the devs. Is the perk actually fine? Why is it not nerfed yet? What's happening?
I feel like the moment the killers hear the boon sound, they have to hardcore tunnel. Even though the artist's perks were interesting, they are not even remotely strong to counter what CoH brings into the game (also killers only have 4 perks... it's not like they have a lot of freedom)
