Survivor still need more buffs
I'm glad they acknowledged the gap between solo and SWF, but if they don't address the oppressive perks that killers use then nothing will help average solos, even if they have all the status meters there is. You will still be unable to play an average solo match because the game is balanced for what seems to be really experienced and good SWF, which the survivors that want to have a chance to win play together. Solo and casual will still face unprecedented losses every match. The stats they see should show that. The skill requirements are still too high for the survivor side and status icons do not help that.
Less required from killers.
Killers can usually down too fast.
Maps are too favorable for most killers. We need more fog. Fog offerings still do not work. It is non-existent on the farm maps.
Ruin, Tinkerer, Starstruck, Undying, STBFL, and all Aura Perks, to name a few, need to be looked at and nerfed some.
MMR still doesn't offer 2K outcomes.
Killers win way too much and too easily and status icons won't help enough.

I actually agree we need more fog on the maps. The atmosphere has been ruined without it

Maybe you should try and swap to killer main for a week. Or play something else! Civilazation is a good game

Sluzzy, a friend and I have been wondering this for a while, so if you see this we'd both really appreciate an answer; when you play survivor, do you play exclusively solo?
1 -
Skill Issue.
7 -
Sluzzy's a god Nurse, IIRC. I always see their name on the front page of the DBD stats tracker I use.
10 -
Starstruck should work only when you pick up and someone is around, not if you pick up and walk with a non wiggle survivor+agitation to get others exposed.

Almost all of OP's posts are hilariously absurd complaints and demands, but I will agree that we need more Fog. Even if it's a killer nerf, the fog makes the game feel more atmospheric. Removing the fog and installing flood lights (or the straight-up sun) on every reworked level has really shredded every last vestige of "a spooky hide and go seek" mood.
But that should come as no surprise. The current Dev team has decided the game would be better as a game of Tag instead, with any possibility of stealth replaced by just running all the time because most killers can't punish survivors for buzzing around like flies on a corpse.
11 -
@Sluzzy I don't want to be that guy but we don't know how much killers are wining (and we can't take persona experience alone). The only new status we have is that SWF has 15% more win rate. So until we see what the devs will do ( in about 20 hours ) can you pls state what that can do to improve solo survivors without nerfing killers?
Thank you.
1 -
yeah, survivors need the door open at the beggining of the match ...please behaviur.
5 -
I dream of the day when I can get matched with you, Sluzzy. You're gonna DC so fast.
8 -
With the games current coding, I'm afraid our console friends would have toaster ovens in stead of gaming systems if they were to implement better fog.
4 -
Can you give me a screen shot of that?
1 -
I played a game against him a week ago and he left his team to die. I couldnt cover both hooks but didnt have too thanks to Sluzzy.
8 -
Sluzzy, the changes havent been implemented, let them be implemented, than let's see how kill rates change,
0 -
Yes and let's give the survivors the ability to create a portal to escape while we're at it. /s
2 -
Sluzzy is a nurse main...
1 -
I'm definitely OK with more fog. Killer or survivor. It will surely help stealth killers a ton.
1 -
I would like to know what stat tracker you are looking at because as far as I know dbd doesn't have a Stat tracker and if it's a 3rd party then it's only those who put there info into it are on it.
It seems non reliable if it's a 3rd party thing.
0 -
Maybe a tiny bit more fog could be nice but, not a lot because in 2016 and 2017 it was really hard to see in for both sides so wouldn't want that to happen again
1 -
It's a 3rd party website and it pulls the stats and numbers straight from steams api
Nothing inaccurate about it, it's literally pulling numbers off the users save data pretty much (not exactly I just explained it in a easy to understand way so you would get it)
2 -
I'm hoping they add a 5th survivor to matches so that the other 4 can stand a chance!
1 -
Do bones.

What is this website I would like to take a look. I'm on console so I won't be on there but I'm interested.
0 -
Hadn't seen a Sluzzy in awhile. Good to know you're okay.
2 -
It pulls data from Steam. It's accurate, although of course it only reads data from one platform and it only tracks information that is stored for achievements (which is a lot of information, but it's still not universal and it only begins to track something when an achievement for it is created.)
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to third party websites, though; I've had posts deleted in the past. Google "dead by daylight stats tracker" if you're curious; there's a few of them around.
2 -
No No they don't maybe for solo but a general buff they do not need it.
0 -
I'll definitely have to check it out its an interesting idea
0 -
Only you think of killer nerfs as survivor buffs
0 -
a god nurse who can predict tile movement of survivors and do precise blinks vs op post.
Careful calling somebody god. especially nurse main, I wonder only loops he run around is as kate
1 -
And this is why it feels pointless for survivor mains to posts their feedback and suggestions here. We give our opinion and its met with responses like this that completely exaggerate what we want to see in the game because you think were asking for too much. Killer mains are afraid to see anything new given to survivors. Look at the reactions when boon totems went live. Ohh they were soo OP. Give me a break.
1 -
It's hard to take "feedback" seriously when said feedback is unbelievably biased.
0 -
Fair point. Still though I miss the old atmosphere and lighting a lot
2 -
If he reaches high MMR he'll then complain killers need buffs.
0 -
It’s literally no different with how survivor mains on this forum react to killer posts. Neither side is better than the other.
2 -
Sure, survivor will now be instantly escaped from the game, in the queque, waiting for nobady. Cause killer have al ready unistall and ho play something else.
0 -
They react that way because they know survivors still need so much more and when we see killers getting new things it feels like a slap in the face to us. Even if they were to take away perks from killers they still would be more powerful than survivors. Survivors have to make a loadout based on assumptions on how the next killer they go against is going to play. We only get 4, so if we don't go into the match with the right ones say against a tunneling killer then its probably not going to end well for us. We can use DS every match, but should we have to? Why should I buy new perks if I am forced to use the same perks every match just because I must assume every killer is going to be toxic? As I have said, this game needs to have big fundamental changes.
0 -
Killers are supposed to be more powerful than survivors, what on earth makes you think that they shouldn't be? Killers also have to make their perk load outs based on assumptions on how the survivors are going to play. The killer only gets 4 perks while the survivors have a combined 16 perks that the killer needs to consider. If the killer doesn't enter the match with the right perks, then it's probably not going to end well for them unless they're facing bad survivors.
You don't have to use DS every match, I have only used it once and find that most killers respect it even when I don't have it. I have zero exhaustion perks equipped and I do fine. I'm not great at survivor, but I don't blame the game or the killer, I blame my lack of skill.
You say you have to assume that every killer is going to be toxic, what do you mean by that? Are you insinuating that killers who camp or tunnel are toxic? Because if you are, you're wrong. There is nothing wrong with killers trying to complete their objective. Just like survivors try to do gens as fast as possible, the killer has the right to do their objective as fast as possible too.
The game doesn't need large fundamental changes, it's closer to balanced than it's ever been. The main thing solo survivors need is a little more information, which the devs have revealed in their latest developer update, that they're working on it. As things stand now, Survivors are the power role, not the killer. Well, Coordinated survivors who know how to work together and loop the killer for more than 6 seconds.
1 -
I am not sure if you're serious or not, but survivors absolutely do NOT need more buffs.
0 -
Of the games I witness, survivors don't have a leg to stand on. Every time the killer is experienced with the meta, it is always a bloodbath. So survivors need a buff so games are fair.
0 -
Mostly solo.
2 -
right, thank you. appreciate the answer.
0 -
as a survivor main we need more buffs like:
dual wielding flashlights
dual wielding med kits
dual wielding toolbox
2 -
Hey Sluzzy, since you think this game is super easy for killers and impossible for survivors, why not play killer?
0 -
Never once said they shouldn't be. I was making a point which you didn't get. The point was even without perks killers are still more powerful than survivors. This is a problem because the gap between survivors ability to survive and killer's ability to kill is too big in my opinion. After the latest hatch and key changes survivors are now left with even less means to escape and rendering keys even more problematic. Now people think if you play a key you're going to hold out on your team and wait for hatch. Keys can still have some use with addons but no one is going to think you're using them for addon power.
0 -
No, I get your point, you just want the game to be made easier for you. If perks were removed from the game, survivors would still have the advantage. You just don't want a team game, you want to be able to solo the killer. The killer is supposed to be more powerful than a lone survivor, even with no perks, they have super powers for a reason. The whole point of playing survivor is to persevere against the killer by working together, with the option of being selfish and waiting for the hatch.
Why should the game provide the survivors with yet another means of escape when they failed to open the doors? Why should more than one person be able to escape from the hatch? Isn't the killer entitled to the kill if they managed to out play your team or do you just want more hand holding because you feel bad that you couldn't beat them? Of course people will think you're bringing in a key for the hatch, that's the main purpose of the key.
At the end of the day, Survivors are currently the power role, well, survivors who know how to actually play the game anyways. If this wasn't true, then they wouldn't have to be limited to certain perks during tournaments.

Somehow I always imagine you have a huge Tome with all our details in.
0 -
Okay if this is true and @Sluzzy is a god-tier Nurse, he will be getting 4Ks almost every match. So wouldn't it be realisable that his conclusion of survivors being too weak is valid?
Oh no am I a survivor main now?
0 -
:)

Combine god Nurse with mostly solo survivor and honestly the conclusions they come to suddenly seem reasonable, even the more outlandish ones.

My world has turned! We must join the Sluzzy fan club!
