New Boil Over

With the new effect "If the Killer drops from a height while carrying you, you’ll instantly get a 25% wiggle progress bonus" you can guarantee an escape if you stay at the top floor of the main building on Ironworks of Misery. (Near the breakable wall)

Depending onmap rng there is at max. one hook that can be reached, sometimes none. And one bodyblock, one sabo or hook offerings makes it impossible.

But adding a hook on the top floor would maybe make camping too easy.

Edit: library on RPD is another difficult position.

That can’t go live, so many survivors are gonna abuse this lol.

I try to post here the same proposal i posted in the other identical topic:

An important point to take into consideration is that the killer can clearly see there is boil over and can react searching for closer hooks.

I think we can buff BO:

    • Keeping the 75% bonus to wiggle strength because it is funny and it make sense with the situation
    • Removing the "the killer cannot see the nearby hooks" part that is stupid. A good killer knows his hooks, you need the aura to find the far one not the close ones.
    • Giving 10/15/20% bonus to wiggling speed

AND PLEASE, do not tell me: "but then with flip flop and breakout and a person that is removing every hook, in a mountain terrain with a planetary alignment the killer will not be able to hook anyone!"

It is obvious this proposal must be first tested and it is obvious that, in order to WORK AND BE VIABLE there may be some situation where it happens to be very good!

At the end of the day, the surv is investing one perk!

Well if the survivors are on a hill or a second floor or roof and I pick you up and see the icon have fun bleeding out.

If you have to fall once and the hook is not far it is not the end of the world.

    Otherwise, yes slug him.

He choose the perk, he decided that he was more comfy being slugged then hooked.

It is like DS, sometimes you get slugged because of it but people still run that perk.

I mean granted it has counters. Agitation/Iron Grasp but there goes 2 killer perk slots.

Boil Over literally tells the killer you are running it so unless they don't pay attention to changes they'll know to avoid falls while carrying you. Plus killers can just drop you if they know they can't reach a hook.

The change is nice and the larger aura blocking was always needed because too many times I would pick up survivors just 1 or 2m outside the blocking range meaning it did nothing. But the perk is still not good and won't see a lot of use.

Man, i think agitation alone is more than enough.

It is 25% IF YOU FALL.

Agitation gives you 18% more speed.

Basically with agitation you have 7% less distance, not a huge deal.

Without agitation you can still reach the same distance not falling, many times if you decide to fall it is in order to shorten the path.

I think that, with the "falling buff" proposal it will still be a perk noone will run.

But sure, let's test it before... you never know.

Still people mostly use agitation for basement, and against this perk you can't drop down the stairs without 25% more wiggle so this will make basement builds harder to use. Going to normal hooks should not be a problem agitation or not.

Sure! Probably if someone is going to run BO it is to avoid being taken in the basement too often.
