Dead Man's Switch buff it's too much
First of all, I want to make it clear that I'm main killer, my previous posts prove it. But that's not why I'm going to defend unbalanced perks, like this new version of Dead Man Switch. On M1 killers overall this buff seems to be pretty decent, but on high mobility killers like Nurse, Blight, Hillbilly and Oni, they might kick out survs from gens again and again. The Artist also has this ability. My suggestion is that the time be shortened, 45 s is too much to work on any surv, or that the perk becomes a scourge hook.

I'd rather them keep it like this. Perk diversity is always appreciated and the more stronger perks there are the less people will use the same build

Can we stop asking for nerfs for a perk we haven't even seen in action yet I hate stuff like this

Doctor with distressing + calm addons and dead man switch on small maps 😈

As meagre as most of all of the other changes highlighted in the dev update are, this one's a banger.
Freddy with Class Photo, Artist, Doc with Calm, high-mobility killers like Blight, Nurse, Billy, Oni, as well as Wraith, Legion and Victor to an extent. Not to mention just about any killer and controlling clusters of gens. This perk will be fairly nuts, and there are some cool synergies like Thrilling Tremors and Pain Resonance.
I won't say yet that it is too much, the perk has a bit of counterplay. What I will say is that it is the only change out of the ones listed that will actually have a notable impact on the game, the other changes are just not enough, far from in most cases. Pinky Finger nerf is welcome.

The Dead Man Switch trigger doesn't reset if it's already activated. Furthermore, I agree with Truffle Turtle - The only way we'll ever see DbD move away from uncomfortably tight meta situations is for development to push other perks into the realm of feasible utility in higher rank matches. So if people are actually being real when they say they don't like seeing stuff like ruin/undying all the time, then it might be a better idea to stop trying to fight the process working to address the problem of 'too many boring meta builds.'

It was by thoughts like this that CoH came from the PTB and is intact.
