Sending even more chinchillas after Holly? Don't threaten her with a good time! She might take you up on that :P

Thor, Chilla of Thunder

Almost forgot the Halloween chinchilla of the day.
though.. this one was too tired for Halloween and costumes anyways..
(it’s literally melting, maybe it still counts as a costume?)
4 -
The chinchilla has been working hard these last few days, they deserve a break too!

I went to my friends house last night and saw the 2nd most adorable cat.

I had an Internet Friend going through a bit of a tough time and she opened her commissions to the Discord we're part of. I've never really wanted or needed art before but I had actually been considering getting something with Holly (my sister has one of her puppers and I really liked it and thought that it would be a nice thing to do for her as well as let me get the pic I've been considering). Her style isn't quite what I had in mind looking over her portfolio but I think it turned out very well.

and to give her credit, that is her Deviant Art account thingy
Now I just need to get myself a nice print of this and a frame and figure out where Holly should go...

Jack-O-Chillas for Halloween
3 -
Holly!!! It's supposed to be Spooky Day, not Incredibly Adorable Day!!!
I guess it's not your fault, you can only do so much to change your appearance.
4 -
Kitties.... Dante had a growth spurt and is catching up to Darryl in size.
Doggo... Kazi is a bee for Halloween. She is comfy in the costume around her body but not a fan of the head piece 😂
4 -
Since it's Halloween here's some cute animals with pumpkins.
3 -
-
Anyway also tick tock it's cow o'clock (look at the last one's stupid little face i love them)
3 -
Here is post 665 so one of you can have the honor to be #666 on today, the Spookiest of all days.
Uh... here's a picture of a shot I ordered when I asked the bartender to make me the girliest shot they had.
That's kind of cute and cuddly, right?

And the honour goes to this

(as it turns out, it's surprisingly hard to find birds in halloween costumes without ecosia thinking the costume itself should be a bird.)
3 -
Anyway here's a spooky cow
3 -
found another one
He is a vampire. But instead of a bat, he turns into a bird.
but he's already a bird, you ask? precisely. he is always a bird.
3 -
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...oh wait, it's just a costume.
You had me really worried there for a second pupper!!!
Also Chainsaw Man Bunny
3 -
I know.. it’s pretty easy for dogs (obviously) and hedgehogs though. Birds are way harder

Videos of cats being petrified of the small woodland creatures that are SUPPOSED to be their prey are my favorite
2 -
Don’t know how his gif got into the search results.. but cats are something special.
4 -
Oh.
Hi.
3 -
In that cats defense, that was their bed on the Roomba it looks like so the owner placed it (or likely the cat while they were in the bed) on it.
That cat was setup to fail! The cat is innocent of this crime of being a derpy boi!!!
1 -
cant disagree here (could have still reacted differently than just to endure it? - but cat are liquids after all)
1 -
Vet the rescue brought the kittens to estimated they were born May 2 which means today these two are 6 months old.
2 -
That picture you had posted earlier when I asked how you could tell them apart was basically just their back
Now that I can see more of their front, they're super easy to tell apart now.
Unless all you can see is cuteness, then it would be impossible to tell them apart since they're both equally super cute!
3 -
From behind definitely have to pay attention to tell them apart since the differences are small from that angle.
The cuteness definitely makes it harder to tell them apart.
2 -
Holly has...seen things. Horrible horrible things...
3 -
Need this rn
2 -
These are NOT cute and cuddly! They are a menace to my bird feeders and should be dealt with like a toxic bully squad you Blood Warden'ed into a 4K; with spider monster hands bursting out of the ground to stab and crush!!!
3 -
Still cute and cuddly, even if evil
3 -
They have their own feeder in the back damn it! I even splurged and got them the better mix!!!
(The original was just sunflower seeds)
Eat your own food you little fluffy bastards!

Hello Hi I am in need again

2 -
Also all of these for your enjoyment too have fun
4 -
Thank you, sir
2 -
Quick Holly, be adorable!!!!
Good job!
5 -
Also...
Oh no! Another kitty cat has shown up on the Adoption website that fits the criteria for a second cat if I were to get another one!
About the same age (Born July 28, 2020 so 2.5ish years old) and is a short hair. Uh...end of criteria :D
Someone save me from myself and tell me I am good with only one kitty cat...

Holly deserves a bestie :)
2 -
I put in the application...
1 -
Holly and Olive, I wanna see them cuddling together 🐱🐱
2 -
She's adorable. She makes a face like my Dante does, hopefully she's more friendly. 😂
Hope her and Holly end up snuggling like this.

Well that escalated quickly. I guess the foster parent who has Olive is super unhappy that they have a foster cat (which is super strange to me because why are you a foster parent for a cat if you don't want a cat but maybe there's more to this story than I know) and have been very uncooperative with the organization with letting people meet the animals. So I'm going to meet and almost certainly take Olive home tomorrow.
The agency said I can be considered a "Foster" owner until we know for sure it'll work. If it works out, I can just adopt her and if it's not working out, I will foster the cat until they can find a new owner cause I have no desire to make a cat stay at a home if the home owner doesn't want them there.
EDIT: Got more info. First, it'll be Sunday now instead of tomorrow as the foster lady can't bring the cats to the agency tomorrow. Second, the agency contact I have said that the foster evidently is an "independent" trapper who catches the strays and then gives them up to adoption agencies. However, given everything going on (so many people are giving up their pets because of Covid and/or Inflation and can't afford them anymore, which is also a little baffling to me as I'd starve before I gave up Holly but I digress...), there are no open spots in any agencies. So the lady is bitter that she's now "stuck" with these cats until she can find an agency that will take them.

Such a weird attitude to have when she's going out of her way to trap the cats in the first place. If not willing to keep the cats then work with a rescue that does the catch, spay/neuter, release and then set up outdoor area for the cats like the cheap boxes for them to get them out of the elements and a lime food/water station. That's what places do when they can't take in the cats (limited room at shelter/limited fosters).
I didn't meet my kitties before I took them. The foster didn't want randoms in her house (don't blame her, totally understandable) and based on the cats temperament (mainly Dante) figured it'd be alot of unnecessary stress since unless the cats just like HATED us we were going to give them a home. It is good to do foster incase kitties don't get along.
