Bug or feature? Range killer hitbox hitting through walls

Nearly everytime I drop a pallet dont get the stun and immediately and tightly cut behind a tall wall (left or right) a hatchet, tentacle, etc hits me. I save the video and clearly see im hit through the wall, especially with huntress.
I have video but apparently i have to put it on YT or something first ugh.

Im on ps4, i saved a video itll just take time have to move it from ps4 to my pc. But im sure others have experienced this many times.
