Pharmacy Flashlights
So all killer mains are just gonna theaten to dox me, but.
This is Something I've been curious about for awhile and I don't mean Something Identical because always getting a flashlight would be OP but it's the closest perk I can compare it to.
Due to Lightborne's buff I feel it would be appropriate to talk about a perk like this and with the additon of the artist and her burnable crows it also adds to it.
The description I imagine would be
"Search through chests 50% faster and increases your chances of getting a rare (or greater) flashlight from a chest by 25%"
Think about it
Wraith being burnable, Artists crows, Hags traps, faking lightborne. Would it be that unfair?
I'll post more about perk Ideas I got because I'm curious on what People have to say, this one time I'm just gonna ignore killer mains, sorry lol.

Make a generally considered to be an annoying item more common doesn't sound like a good idea, to be honest.

When I play killer I usually just use franklins

We have Flashbang to cover this niche. I think Pharmacy is ok as it is

As a killer main, I will not threaten to dox you. That is how good of a person I am, deep down.
I digress, yes. Do it. Let the non believers burn, those of us born of light will be safe and the Buddha will guide us to enlightenment. Flashlights are the weakest items anyways and you can just face a wall, lul.

Ngl I like collecting them

Getting Survivors on Chests rather than Gens does sound like a good idea, though.

I don't mean literally replace pharmacy I mean just Something similar

I still don't think that Killers Powers should interact with Flashlights at all
It should be a non-Flashlight related effect. (EG: Running into a Crow doesn't even apply a Swam, looking at Wraith breaks him out of his Uber-cloak)
Ligthburn would need to be integrated into a generic mechanic that is applied to all Killers, rather than only a small subset.

Then there would be little to no point in bringing them, Lightborne is already getting as buffed as It can get so you get the flashlight but the killer has lightborne, you wasted time and a perk, it's a chance taking perk

I read your comment wrong lol, that could Happen but you'd have to do it when the killer is using their ability, when doctor is trying to shock, if you time it right you burn him, that kind of thing but you'd have to be picture perfect, that would encourage speed add-ons

Or something with Bloodlust.

I would agree with a perk that gives more flashlights if, and this is a BIG IF; They fix flashlight macro-spam first.
I can GD sick of macro users spamming a flashing light in my face 50 times a second. It literally has no use, other than to inflict discomfort on the PLAYER controlling the Killer.
It does not blind faster. It does not save charges (and if it does; this is an exploit, and thus; cheating). It only serves to actually physically hurt the person behind the character. Thus, it needs to be fixed before someone has a legit GD seizure because of flashlight BM macros.

They're removing bloodlust

They should just give the blinding a. Cooldown, once the killer's screen clears they need to wait 5s before they can be blinded again, the effect could be called "adjusted" and lightborne just gives you that permenantly

A while ago I would have agreed that would have been a smart choice.
Now I just think that it's a mechanic that simply doesn't have any possible interaction from the Survivors side. (In addition to the chase duration condition being purely relegated to Killer input)

Chests are so worthless now that I could care less. They're level decoration now. 1 in 4 chance of getting a worthless key. Forget about it.
0 -
I mean you're not wrong. Which is why I'm all for it.

Not any time soon, the devs have indicated that they don't believe it should be removed in the past, and from some comments McLean made a month or so ago, that is still the general sentiment.

It's not the blinding effect. it's the strobe-light effect from the macro turning the flashlight on and off itself. No perk stops that.
0 -
It's being removed in the next update lol, they're making the maps smaller

Did you, by chance, watch a Scott Jund video recently?

Are you completely sure about that?
