Ideas for lowering the grind;
So over time I was thinking about things that would lower the blood point grind of the game. Some have probably been mentioned plenty of times before, but three that I've kept in mind are;
Perks don't need to have 3 tiers; I think this one is very straight forward because removing the need to churn through three levels of every single perk would dramatically drop the overall costs it would take. I also think it would be a huge move towards making this game far more enjoyable to new players.
Bloodpoint cap should be reflective of the total number of playable characters; Over time a million points is doing less and less for players, this cap should be adjusted as more is added to the game to compensate for the loss in value. Players who have been playing a long time are more likely to have perks they don't enjoy using.
Disposing of addons, items and offerings; Eventually players are getting stacks of items they don't want to use, either from them not appealing to their gameplay style, or are just plain useless in design. It would be nice to have a way to grind these off into some kind of recycle bin that gives something in return, as for how much value there would be in this I'm not even certain of it myself. Initially I thought five items of the same grade would return the BP cost of an item in that grade, so milling five brown addons/items/offerings would return 3000 BP to the player, and so on.

What we’re getting on February is a great start to reducing the grind. There’s still more to do though

I would like to see a Market
Where you can buy what you want and sell what you don't want
Also get rid of the Shrine

The devs made it clear they don't intend to lower the grindwall. It's so tough by design.

Perk tier removal would help a ton....even if they just remove 1 tier.
Recycle would be the most fun though.

Perk Tier removal is the most obvious and likely effective move that should be made here. Perk tiers were fine when there were single digit killers/survivors, now it's just out of hand.

Would be nice if everything in the Bloodweb was half off during the blood hunt

Another good idea would be to literally just remove tier 1 and 2 perks. This allow new players to actually get the perks they want without spending too much time, because this way you can get rid of the bad perks more quickly.

The BP we earn match equally with the BP we spend for each match.
- You earned 6k BP? You can bring 2 brown addon next match.
- You earned 15k BP? You can bring green medkit with a yellow addon, with purple offering.
Those are a few example, you get what I mean.
What we grind is Tier3 of all perks (or at least perks that we want). Simply take out Perk tier and the grind reduced by 66%

Perk tier removal seems like a no brainer at this point so hopefully bhvr will do it but I'd also like to see the stacking bp effects of wglf and BBQ be base kit.

Grind addiction is something they want tho its a psychological effect that makes us all hate it and love it at the same time. sure it sucks lvling new chars but in all honesty would you touch chars that didnt have that upward climb? alot of us most likely wouldnt sure it can be annoying its all about managing those expectations tho. i doubt new chars would be touched if they didnt have to grind their levels anymore

One idea that I found really charming was this: with every Prestige level perks start to appear on your blood web one level higher. This way prestige would give you a tangible advantage,besides the vague "you gey better blood webs", one.

Every time a new chapter drops, the grind increases exponentially though. Its not as bad as survivor, since you just need to get the new character to 40 for all teachables and then do a few blood webs on your main survivor to get said perks, but on killer the same needs to be done *as well as* doing a few hundred blood webs to get that new killer caught up and outfitted. Any lapse in doing so only makes the grind that much longer as soon as the next chapter drops after that, and so on. And this is all assuming you're not trying to catch up in the first place, on account of being a newer player or not playing as many hours.
The longer it gets ignored, the more drastic it needs to be fixed. The rank reward changes are a start, but they also require an extremely large time investment in order to be able to get much out of.

This is so bad idea, sorry. Survivors and killers will sell weak items and add-ons and everyone will go for strongest items and add-ons. Game is already sweatfest, we don't need more. For now it is okey, it is RNG and it is should stay like this.

I am not sure I would want to waste so much time getting rid of all those useless addons and offerings.
If they made it fast like you can do it by hundreds, then sure, but if it was system like Bloodweb? Slowly 1 by 1, oh hell no. Well, I would create macro for it and leave...

Since literally some effort is required for most potential fixes, if the devs don't want to put the work in, just lower the cost of everything on the bloodweb.

Mute point i guess.......they won't do anything big like that anyhow.

I like this idea too, gives the prestige system more value.
