Ranking and disconnecting
It's absolutely fair that you lose rank pips for disconnecting/ragequitting because it's unsportsmanlike, but why are Survivors being punished for the Killer dc'ing on them? I lost two pip marks because a salty Killer decided that they will dc just right after the remaining survivors escaped. I'm not sure if the others lost theirs too. Is there a way for the game's algorithm to view the variables if the player got dc'ed from the host because the host ragequitted as opposed to leaving through the leave match button? It's getting frustrating.
Edit: Nevermind, it seemed to have been a bug. After escaping a trial after that one, the two pips are back. Strange.

Yea it has been fixed some time ago. You see a lost pip in the endgame screen, but when you return to menu you can check it's not lost. And you get to keep you BP.

The problem with survivors losing pips for disconnecting is that rank 15 becomes full of people that disconnect.
If I go near that rank at reset and dont play for a while its a nightmare to play because almost everygame someone will DC. I also think it shows bad habits to new players.0 -
It loOKs like you lost a pip, but you actually didnt.
Btw there is no way to lose 2 pips unless you dc on your own0 -

Yeah that's frustrating! Even one man short can be a death sentence to the entire team if it's not properly coordinated, or if it's the Killer that dc's, it's not fun for everyone.
