Exit gates should regress at the same speed as a generator or killers should be able to damage them.

I think this small change would have a very big impact to the current state of the game. If exit gates regress at 0.25c/s which is pretty slow (for reference, it would take 80s for them to fully regress) that would open up a lot of different possibilities for late game plays and builds for killers, without being too oppressive for survivors. 99ing the exit gates beats the purpose of the end game collapse and having them regress would keep survivors on their toes until the very end of the match. If regressing by themselves is too much for the devs you can always give the killer an action to damage them akin to damaging a gen so they begin regressing after.

If the killer has to damage them actively they would tap it.

If they regress then by itself. Which would be a good idea imo.

Let Killers 1-frame of animation tap exit gates to make them regress. The exact way Survivors BS their way past gen regression. 😁

I like the idea of gate regression but I think it might be too punishing to have them regress all the way- I'd say have them naturally regress down to about 80% completed over a moderate amount of time, so survivors can still orchestrate a late game save without being able to literally just tap the gate to open it once they get back.

Egc is totally killer sided, so 99% gates is perfectly fine
