A casual/party mode?
I've been off DBD since early October, then I played a game in November and haven't played since, and it's all because everyone here can agree, we tryhard a lil bit because we're worried about things. Things being: Generators, Hooks, Hexes, Add ons, Items, etc etc. What if DBD got a casual mode? No gen related perks, no hook related perks, just chases for a set amount of time then after the time runs out, depending on the survivors incapped the chosen side wins. I know camping and slugging would be bad if there were hooks so no hooks, and an idea for when a survivor gets downed is this, when they go down, they go into a seperate world (Like a phase) with other survivor's auras shown to them, after 30 seconds with increased crawl speed (Something like 3m/s) they return to the real world and can be revived by another survivor or with a perk that picks them up. Items could just be in chests but you can't bring ones in or out, just stuff like that to make DBD something like a party game.
Think an idea like this would be cool? Am I wasting my time typing this? Or both?

They've repeatedly stated they have no plans to add game modes to DBD. The custom settings you mention will prolly have to wait for DBD2, if that ever happens.
