Need help playing as a non toxic Bubba.

Hi. I'm pretty new to the forum and the game, been playing since epic giveaway and, as many people I guess, after a few games with your basic killers I decided to watch some tutorials, read some guides and whatnot.

From this I got 1 thing clear: Get Bubba for his perk. Naturally I was also thrilled to play with him as well as he seemed a very strong killer. As expected after playing a few games normally I got stomped so very hard that I lost interest. Got my teachables and dropped him on a corner.

Now, with many more teachables, experience and video guides of him I want to resume playing him. I'm using the cool Gen breaker build from red's videos but I'm having a massive problem actually winning.

It kinda goes like this, Bubba is weak to vaults. No way around it, so I focus Gens and areas devoid of such resources (not possible on every map, but whatever), when I chase a survivor to those impossible vault tiles I just drop the chase rather than spending 2 minutes trying to get a down. By the time 4 gens are popped generally I already got a hook on everyone, maybe some already at 2, but they just run like 15 seconds before I even get to them into vaults, leaving me with little choice. By the 5th Gen I have no kills and unless I camp my next down they all just go.

So my sincere question, how do you actually pressure 4 survivors hell bent on doing gens when they turn tail as soon as they hear as much as half a heartbeat and into shacks and such, as Bubba? How do you actually win, without just camping?

All videos and streams I have watched they just show the survivors making mistakes, like trying to loop around a pallet, that I can do. In fact most my downs are when they try that, but when they just don't want anything to do with you? Videos don't really show that.

I realize this post is also a frustration venting, but I just don't want to keep Bubba in the garbage bin, good only for his teachables, but I don't want to just play camping in order to make anything out of him either.

I thank you in advance for any help you may provide.

Also, any streamer that actually uploads videos of how to play the hard games? Would love to learn from that.

If survs always run very soon you have a hard time to win, no matter which killer you play. (ok some can)

That is the famous hold W strat everybody talks about.

A surv just running straight away takes you a lot of time to catch up. If everybody only does that the game will be hard.

A lot of people struggle against good loopers. Dropping chase and try to find a weaker survs is ok. But sometimes there simply is none.

Bubba can be fun if you wanna put on a show. But getting a team kill is hard with any killer. I consider 1 kill a win, also if i have a good time, thats a win. Playing a team that doesnt taunt or bully you, thats a win. Just dont bother camping , especially face camping a hook. Its a bad look and those survivors will take it out on other killers. With pallets dont charge through, move forward then back up, trick them into dropping early to avoid stun. Bubba can one hit a pallet, using chainsaw. Breakable doors too. Rev up saw on approach, Just gotta get the timing right and it can be quick. As long as they dont stun you with pallet first. I have only had 2 team kills in 5 months, and now mostly just 1 kill per game at best. I found when i stopped worrying about how many kills i got i enjoyed the game more. Dont stress. Just have fun. Hope it helps
