Leatherface Shards Not Rewarded
I'm using Xbox One X, Switch, and Steam.
Maybe I haven't given it enough time yet, but own and have played Leatherface on every console listed above, especially on the Xbox. I have not yet received the shards after the mid-chapter update.

yes if you've played bubba you will get them - there's a lot of work going behind the scenes to ensure the correct people get their rewards.

I also didn't get shards. "A lot of work going on behind the scenes" ... so when do we know if we have been missed? We've lost the masks but not got the "rewards"

I think they won't forget us. If it takes really long (like a month or something like that) we should just report it again.

How about using all this effort to ban the racists that used the masks for racism?
How about using all that effort to give a worthy reward to those who had the hard work of chasing the masks? (ex: 6k PER MASK)
How about using this effort to solve more important problems at the moment? Or even remove just Claudette's mask.
If regret could kill, I would have been dead a long time to have believed in this company.

i agree with u besides that i don't mind them removing all the masks, but i do want rewards for losing them, i don't think it's a good idea to remove only Claudette's mask.

because they can’t in many cases where for example the harassment wasn’t actually done in-game - it was stated that a reason for the removal was that the masks were used as a tool for racism. If players are outright racist in in-game chat they do get banned

what about people that don’t have the masks unlocked but actually got bubba because they intended to? Those that were only one sacrifice away from unlocking the mask? Too much edge cases.

Just removing Claudettes mask would be perceived as downright racism. And they are not putting all resources into this one issue. Though it’s a good thing this got finally addressed as this controversial topic has been around for a long time already and needed to be managed together with the license holder. Now was the time for it.

though surely you agree that doesn’t mean they should allow the usage of SmartFace as a tool for racism that circumvents the official in-game anti-racism rules

Yes. But I would like to see BHVR really fighting racism, not just when it happens with a streamer.
After me and my friends reporting racists every week for a year (with tickets) and seeing nothing happening, I can't see this decision as nothing but fear of bad PR. If BHVR was banning these people AND removing the masks, I'd think different of it.

I should have recieved the shards about 1 day ago, but still havent recieved them. Are they still being distributed and I need to be a bit more patient or do I need to create a support ticket?
