I really wish you would fix 360's.
"Just get close and tap M1!!" i hear you cry.
I shouldnt ######### have to because the craptastic auto-aim of the game gets exploited so easily.
Its not as bad on good killers but when you use a low tier killer who cant do ######### at pallets or loops then missing just 1 swing can really hurt you.

I mean just turn the way the run, it's not hard...

I remember when you just had to LMB as a nurse near a survivor and it would always lock to the survivor no matter what direction you were facing.0

I've got no problems with 360's for the most part, sure they might pull one off on me may'be 2 but most often I smack em. There's nothing wrong with the 360 and they won't remove it, you just need to improve your timing better.
Once you improve your timing and your skills on it you'll find you want them to 360 since it's a guaranteed hit and quite often it's the DH users too. They'll use the 360 get hit and then burn the DH and quite often run right into you or stay super close to where you get them down.

Fact is it makes the game look like jank. It's embarassing. Imagine if in any other game someone just spun the camera and character and it took advantage if the auto-aim, it would be a laughing stock.0 -

Its when you don't see it coming. Or when the distance is just right that they can pull it off. Sometimes you have to lunge ya know? Especially on weaker killers.

I main Trapper and Spirit and have no issue with it, Pig no issue, Myers no issue, Wraith no issue, etc etc etc. The fact is what's embarrassing is you blaming it on the game instead of your own refusal to adjust.
It's like with nurse, you adjust your blinks based upon what the survivor is doing oh they changed directions and cut back towards me,. you would keep going full channel and miss them. The rest of us would adjust our channel so it's shorter and land on top of them for the hit.
The analogy of Neanderthals and Cro Magnon is apt here how one survived because they ADAPTED and one didn't.

Dang. Someone keeps breaking your ankles?2

I dont understand why its a thing either, but then there are a lot of weird things in the game and I asume its just a feature they introduced accidentially and kept it as feature instead of adressing the prolbem (just like the hitbox abuse looping)

@The_Crusader , have you ever stabbed someone? (If not, you should try it, feels great.) The thing is, it really is hard to turn when someone suddenly changes direction. But not if you expect it. Quite realistic actually.

Quick spin of the camera and WASD keys and suddenly its a free pass to claudette.
Its garbage.
Perhaps we should have left other such exploits and jank in the game and just had people adapt. Like the trick on the combine where killers couldnt go down one side if a survivor crouched...why not just leave it in and have the killer adapt?0 -

There's a trick you can use when you want to lunge near a pallet spot though, actually there's a few you can use.
- If the survivor is looking over their shoulder say left side you know that's the side they'll end up 360ing on. They're watching your movements to time their own so you need to mind game them.
When getting close to them you can do the lunge but then aim down and left and pull your movement back some. You'll end up swinging down and left and backing up and they'll walk right into your swing. The same is true if they're looking over their right shoulder do the same that way.
- If you're really close to the pallet it's all about the timing with your lunge at that point because you can time your lunge to hit before they start the pallet drop. If it's a 2nd hit to down if done right you'll hit them and down them before the pallet animation starts.
The stun still goes off because you started your lunge before they started the pallet drop but the hit registers and then you get stunned. If it's a 1st hit it's better to fake them out with a lunge so they drop the pallet and waste it.
Now if you're a sneaky killer you're running Spirit Fury like some Myers and even Billy's are doing sot hat you can still get that hit off and even if you get stunned it's instantly broken.
Those are just some of the ways to counter 360's and once you learn them you'll find that 360's aren't really an issue. Oh sure occasionally you'll miss or mistime it or get a really good 360 player but for the most part you'll still hit ost of them.
The ones you miss you won't miss more than 1-3x in a match and after that it's 100% hit rate every time and the smart ones stop doing it. The egotistic ones keep doing it and keep giving you free hits/downs.

@Mr_Myers The devs did say in their last Q&A that killers simply cannot rotate their camera as quickly as survivors can.
@The_Crusader Patience is a big part of playing the killer, I think, especially with 360s. I've always found it better to let a surv 360 a few times before I swing. Or, if I wanted to be super aggressive, I would trail behind them, while parallel and not directly behind them, breaking the functionality of a 360. Oh, you can always run backwards just as they 360, then lock on, and lunge. You do lose speed, but not as much as you would from missing a hit.
@powerbats thanks for those tips! I learned something new

I can deal with 360s. Whenever I'm close to a Claudette I can spin the moize to counter them. Kind of daft you have to almost dislodge your arm but I can deal with them.
Like I said its a problem that bugs me when I'm using a weak killer and they're about to get near to a pallet so you take a lunge at distance and they do some stupid flick and dodge it. It feels like you cant lunge, so you have to just let them get to the pallet and delay the game.
I'll try your advice of seeing which way they're looking though.
Another issue is when you lunge st an unsafe pallet, I've seen people do quick camera flicks there and dodge hits. Its so BS because it changes unsafe pallets into safe pallets. Sometimes you have to do a distance lunge and they come out with what is clearly an exploit of the games crappy mechanics.0 -

The last part is just either lag or the difference between teh data sayin ghit and not due to the connection between you and the victim in question. You'll find that sometimes when you'e a survivor the killer will hit you like your described miss.
sometimes you'll get a hit when you shouldn't and a miss when you should get a hit which is the downside to p2p. Because not only do you have both isp's but all the isps between the 2 of you. You also have to deal with is someone on a toaster connection, wifi, cabling, cat 5 or cat 6 etc.

I get put with people from eastern europe though so its bound to happen due to latency.0 -
Oh great. Another game where a claudette dors a quick flick of her wrist and turns an unsafe pallet into a safe pallet.
It breaks the game. You NEED to lunge at this pallets. Thats what makes them unsafe. Whats the point if you can just counter lunges and make every unsafe pallet a safe pallet?0
