First of all I'd like to say a thing to another forum users:

In this discussion I hope get answer exactly from game devs. I don't mind if you will add something of discuss my question, or even answer for them too. I just don't want to see something like "This is because devs are dumb" or "Devs just don't care what people say". Thanks

Sooooooo. Now for a question.

Dear BHVR, I just want to ask what do you use when you making changes in game? What information and, logic etc? I certainly know that you have a lot of game information, statistics and test results. And I know that you know about possibility of appearing od "Dead Zones" where survivors can't be hooked and can wiggle free. Due to this some changes, especially Boil Over, are seems to be really confusing and looks OP.

I really hope to receive answer. Thx.

They mostly use big data to make changes, and somewhat use changes suggested from the community, from what we gather. They also believe that they know their game best, when there are people in this community who dedicate hours to take the time to give them proper feedback and changes that will improve the state of the game.
