Key rework idea*

I was thinking about it. Keys are purple/pink items and if you look at it in that category, they should have a usefulness equal to those of a killers.

How about this, it becomes an alternative objective based on sportsmanship. As you gain BP through the match, that ‘powers’ the key. (So you can’t just hide in the corner waiting for the hatch to spawn). It will require an amount of BP from all the categories so they can’t just loop you forever and then run and jump in. Survivors need hook rescues and heals and Gens.

(we would need to create a fair mechanic as to under what circumstances the the hatch will appear.)

The key can unlock it but it takes time to unlock. And possibly, there are multiple locks. It should be obvious to the killer and survivors when some locks have been opened already and where the hatch is, like the lights on the exit gates.

this would solve inactive survivors, and require the more skilled survivors to do Gens or let someone else get caught for a change. It would reinvigorate keys and create an alternate objective that still requires the primary objectives.

And it might be fun

The devs said moris and keys will be getting changed again at somepoint, no idea when or what they’re gonna do with them.

Considering how useless moris are, they are fine.

They have use anyway, to improve your chance of escaping through hatches.

Keys can give you a free escape with one perk, and moris allow you to bypass DS on death hook. Both of them aren't that bad and have their use. Only green key and yellow mori are really bad in my opinion.

Well man... if there is NO plan to change keys new ideas are not taken into consideration i think.

You should write: "is there a plan to change keys? if --> YES <-- , i have this idea
