Premonition Perk Rework Idea

Hello everyone,

Since Premonition hasn't seen much love and has been pretty low on the ranking board for a long time I thought about reworking it into something more useful while also fitting the name of the perk. Discussion is always welcome.

"You have the undeniable capability to sense danger, even when concentrating."

After repairing a generator for a total of 20 seconds the killer's aura is highlighted when he's in 12 metres near you. Killer's aura is only visible when you are working on a generator.

Premonition has a cooldown of 70/60/50 seconds.

    12 meters and a longer cool down?! I didn’t think Premonition could be any worse, but that’s a straight up nerf! Oof!

    If they simply added a brief aura read to the current version, it would be in a much better place.

    Numbers are not definite. I don't know what would be balanced. But I hope people get the idea.

    This would never see any use. It'd only be useful occasionally for stealth killers, but not much else as all other killers alert you to their presence long before they get within 12 meters because of their terror radius.

    The main issue with premonition right now is that spine chill exists and outclasses it in every way. This change would do nothing to remedy that.

    And if you made the radius larger than 32 meters it becomes wildly overpowered in SWFs and useless almost everywhere else. Because dark sense is a thing, you'd have one person running this and dark sense and giving their team the killers whereabouts almost 100% of the time.

    I don't hate the idea, but I do think that the cooldown is far too long.

    The idea of tying it to seeing the killer while working on generators is interesting, but the problem Premonition is always going to come up against is that Spine Chill is simply always going to be superior, and I'm not sure how to remedy that...

    Maybe just completely untie it from distance? After working on a generator for a total of twenty seconds, you see the killer's aura no matter where they are for [x] seconds, then it goes on cooldown/you have to build it back up again?
