Giving the end game more teeth
Currently in a match of DBD, once all the generators are done there's no reason for the killer to try to exert map pressure. They literally cannot damage survivors fast enough to prevent them from escaping unless they're on the opposite side of the map from the doors. Even if that's the case, by the time you win that chase, everyone else is either at or near the doors and they're both 99'd so all you can do is camp out the person you caught and see if you can't pull off a magic trick where one hooked survivor becomes 3-4. There's a couple of reasons for this, main one is the 99ing of gates and how much distance survivors get when hit (survivors with a 10 meter head start can run for an additional 60 meters against non-mobility killers. So I have a pair of proposals that might make things a bit more interesting for killer and survivors in end game.
Exit Gate Regression: Exit gate switches can no longer be 99'd, when not being held down they start to regress at the rate of 1c/s out of the normal 20. Once the exit gates are opened up the entity will block the exit gate switch, and will begin regressing the doors at the rate of 1c/s a second. Once the door has 5 or less charges an alarm will ring out similar to the opening sound. Once this happens the door will shut again, requiring the door to be opened again. Survivors that are within the area when the door's shut have a few seconds to leave before the entity claims them (If the killer is in the exit zone the doors do not close).
These changes help give the killer pressure even in end game so that have some incentives to pressure doors.
Increased Risk for Exit Gates: The entity likes to dangle hope in front of survivors and snatch it away from them. The exit gates cause a sense of security and the andrenaline high from the trial starts to wear off. Survivors within 12 meters of the exit gate suffer from the Oblivious, Blind, and Exhausted status effects once the EGC has commenced. Staying within this area for more than 5 seconds causes you to suffer from the Exposed status. Survivors who are downed in the exit gate zone get blocked by the entity for 8 seconds.
This change is to give the survivors increased penalties when they linger around the gate, forcing them to either commit to leaving or to commit to a rescue.
Individually these changes just make killers slightly stronger in end game. Both together would make getting a 4 escape much harder for survivors to pull off.

Bit of a shame this doesn't get any attention on the forums.
