Does the Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe ignore the Deep Wound state?

So, today I was playing killer and got into a chase that very confused me. I was chasing a guy who had a medkit with the syringe addon. His friend also brought a medkit, but with the styptic agent addon instead of the syringe. When I injured the guy his friend used the styptic on him and he used the syringe on himself as well. I hit him again, since i saw that he'd make it to the next pallet. The deep wound state was applied, but seconds later the syringe seemed to proc, and instead of him being healed out of the deep wound state back into being normally injured (as I expected it, since adrenaline works the same way) he was completely healed. He didn't have any other perks that would've healed him over time whatsoever.

My question is, does the deep wound state not count as seperate health state to the syringe?

i think it should have only healed from Deep Wounds to Injured. Could be a bug and maybe it has to do with the fact that he used the syringe while still only being injured?

though I though the effect goes away after you get hit anyway. If you get downed while syringe is still on activation iirc it just stops and doesn’t heal you up from downed to injured anymore…

If it actually healed from deep wound straight to healthy that’s probably a bug.

Any other auto-heal in the game like inner strength or adrenaline would’ve just removed deep wound and left them injured.
