Instant Generator Regression from 80% to 0

Maybe I've overlooked some odd perk combo? But is there any way for a generator to literally drop from 80% completion to 0% via 5-10% chunks without the generator exploding?... 3 survivors were repairing this generator, and no explosions happened.

I want to say this was someone hacking and just messing around, but I didn't stick around long enough to see what perks were being used.

I only managed to take a few screenshots cause it was happening too fast... You could see Feng Min getting hit and incapacitated, the 'damage taken' UI graphics effect didn't finish playing yet and the generator hits 0%

    If it was regressing in 5 % or so chunks while another surv was repairing with you they may have used the perk ‚Technician‘ and failed every skillcheck (but that would be pretty unlikely for them to get that many skillchecks..). Otherwise I don’t know how a gen could regress like that.
