The Artist should have vertical manoeuvrability with her Dire Crows.

idk why the devs didn’t think about this when they made the artist… her crows shldn’t just be able to fly parallel to the ground, the swamp maps are just god awful to play on, I wld happily take a decreased terror radius and her movement speed decreased to 4.4 just so I cld have vertical manoeuvrability with her crows, It’s incredibly hard to play her on swamp maps at high mmr just because u can’t send ur crows over the mounds it takes away all ur map pressure. Who else agrees?

She shuts down virtually all loops if you know what you're doing with her and forces survivors to hold W or give her free hits.

Verticality is one of her few weaknesses / counterplay that survivors can utilize against her.

I think it would be neat but she really doesn't need it. Some killers are just going to have maps they don't do so well on. Take Billy and Huntress for example on Lery's. Or Plague also on Swamp I dread it but I play it out anyways and do my best to play through the disadvantages.

I've seen Artist players hit people on higher structures by using the slopes on the Swamp Maps. The crow hitbox is actually quite forgiving.

Yeah I understand but swamp is literally unbearable with her, it’s very hard to get a crow hit when there is so much verticality on the map, not to mention u have to hit a survivor 4 times in order to get a down with ur crows, if they keep going up and down mounds u just resort to becoming an M1 killer. U can’t even send crows to pressure gens as they either fly over their head or below their feet. Even if it was just a few degrees of manoeuvrability I wld be so happy, u wld still be able to avoid her crows going up a set of stairs ig.

I’ve done that myself but I’m pretty much going out of my way doing so… but if ur in a chase, it’s very difficult to get any crow value. A lot of the time u just don’t have the time to go to the edge of the map to send ur crows to a gen on the other side of the map.

Playing artist on swamp does feel pretty awful a lot of the time, but at the same time she doesn’t really need any buffs.

I’d much rather have her the way she is now than changing that and making her 4.4 like you suggested.

I think the changes I suggest wld probably make her harder to play but have a higher skill ceiling… she wld be a lot more reliant on her power just like the nurse is, I honestly think it wld make chases more fun, I’d rather get crow hits cos high mmr survivors basically just force u to M1 which is rather boring tbh and probably why not a lot of ppl play her, I’ve probably gone against 2 artists in the past month.

What reducing her speed would do is just encourage shift W even more which already happens a lot against her since you kinda have to sometimes. It wouldn’t make her more interesting at all.

I don’t rlly know what to suggest then because any map with any kind of verticality is just god awful for her, having verticality in her kit wld make her too op and wld need a nerf somewhere else, I rlly love her as a killer and I love her design but a lot of the time I’m not even able to use her power cos I’ve been getting a lot of maps recently with a lot of verticality, I cld send an offering but having to use them instead of bp offerings just so I don’t get maps with lots of verticality is just ridiculous.

Not when you look at the missed hit detection range. I've seen people from a distance and shot a crow straight at them, and they barely had to dodge for it to miss AND they completely avoid the killer's instinct.
