Wait people are actually upset over Nurse being reinabled?

I have lost and won against most of them on RPD. It depends on how good they are and your team.
Pretty much the same as on most other maps.

I'm pretty sure I can debate that as someone who played a decent bit of billy. Billy on RPD is just worse Bubba. In every way. He doesn't have what makes him billy aka his chainsaw sprint key word SPRINT if you tried to use Billy for his mobility on this map first of all what are you thinking but also you will spend more time to rev the chainsaw then the distance you would go. Thats not even accounting for engravings if you bring them god help engraving billies on RPD. I only really played Blight a lot before RPD got added but giving how I feel about hawkings, lerys and midwich I can only assume how I would react against RPD. Huntress and Trickster become knockoffs of Slinger PH or Nemi or any short range antiloop killer since there is next to no spots to hit people from further than like 10m

Was just saying that both sides just want easier game

Billy can have problems there i understand. Also i faced very good Billys there. They use the corridors or the mail hall a lot.
I tried Billy but i can´t control him. Bubba works better for me.
The throwing killers were super annoying if they are good enough - or camp us to death like this Trickster.
For me like any other map.

Sure, this is what creates nerf threads against new killers with a new mechanic that people don't like.
Instead of seeing this as a new challenge/experience. They just want the same old stuff on loop.

"Whoever made the better mindgame wins the trade." You can forge words like silver. I've been searching for somebody to tell me why Nurse is allowed to be the way she is, because I hated her. Now I see it clearly. And another guy said, "You don't face them that often." And he's right, I don't. I've even admitted that her level of strength is necessary. So I'm thankful for this. My Nurse hunting days are over.

I'm very slow on the uptake with stuff like this, and am not sure if it's sarcastic or not. In the case it's not, I'm genuinely glad I was able to help. In the case it is, I'd like to do more to help.
0 -
No sarcasm. The less things I'm aggravated with in this game, the better. I still hate Scratched Mirror Myers, I still hate Insidious Leatherface, but me and Nurse are cool now.

I'm genuinely happy I was able to help then. :)

Nurse should be disabled forever or get a rework.
5 -
Do you need help learning how to mindgame?
0 -
I think people mostly just hate her cuz with the right perks and on most maps its pretty hard to keep losing line of sight and misdirecting. Almost all maps are open or require you to be in the open at various points where all you've got is low obstacle loops which are useless.
Unless the nurse isnt very good and cant predict movement she is boring to go against.
The only thing which makes dbd fun is being in chases and using the environment to juke and mind game.
With nurse 80% of the environment might aswell not even be there because she ignores it.

I mean it doesn't really matter how good I am against a nurse if all three of my teammates literally go down in 2 seconds against her. As someone who only really plays solo survivor, a good nurse usually results in a hatch game at 5 gens.
This is of course the same whenever MMR puts any much better killer against worse survivors, its just far more obvious against Nurse because she's the strongest killer in the game by a large margin.

People want easier games.
(even though that would kill the game)0 -
Yeah, I don't wanna have to sweat to have a chance with winning.
1 -
My solo queue teammates are apparently furious about nurse returning, given that every single time I've gone against Nurse since she's returned at least one teammate either instantly DCs or runs straight to the Nurse to die. I don't mind facing Nurse, but not when it's a 3v1 within 60 seconds of the match starting.
1 -
More like fundamental game should be reworked from scratch, first starting from removal of palettes and windows.
That's literally what killers are doing every match, I don't think there is anything wrong with "if you want to win play good".
2 -
You don't have to sweat to win. It's just less likely you will win if you are not trying. Obviously.

I'm glad Nurse is back, but now every other game as survivor is Nurse. I'm getting more Nurses than Sadakos today (I always play more survivor when a new killer is released).
I've stopped defending Haddonfield for the most part, but I want it back, too.

It's kind of like when you wear some kind of weight for a while and then you take it off, you feel lighter and stronger, and then you put it back on and you feel heavy all over again
Basically not having Nurse was so nice that having her back now is that much worse, because people saw how good it was without her (at least for those who don't like her)
Not saying I necessarily agree or disagree, but I think it's a decent analogy

Because she's ridiculous and unfair.
And I'm main killer and barely face a nurse when playing survivor (solo in low-mid mmr), but I still thing would be healthy for the game if she is disabled forever. Also due her existence there are killer perks which can't be buffed only because they would too strong in her.

You have it a bit backwards. She is the most fair killer, because every trade instance (attempt to dodge or land a hit) is a 50/50 mindgame. The map RNG and objects are irrelevant, only player skill in mindgaming matters. Killers that have to play around those objects and tiles are either inherently advantaged at some (eg, Nemesis at window/pallet), or inherently disadvantaged at some (eg, standard M1 at long wall jungle gym), meaning the chase starts favoring someone out of either side’s control regardless of player skill. It’s more fair to land or dodge a hit because it is 100% the player making the more skillful mindgame, than it is to do so because you are just automatically advantaged or disadvantaged by RNG map generation.
Also, yeah, some perks can’t be buffed cause of Nurse, but Nurse is the one that uses them well, not OP. Most other killers are just not good enough to even get decent usage out of the perks in the first place. Take Hex: Retribution for example. Example 1 is any non-mobile killer, 2 is Nurse. Retribution activates. All 4 survivors are on the opposite side of the map from you. Okay, so Retribution giving you that info was helpful. Well, what are you actually going to get out of it? Not much, if you’re a killer with no mobility. It’s pretty much useless in that instance because you will lose all of its value by the time you even make it to that side of the map. Comparatively, killers like Nurse/Blight/Spirit/Oni (if Blood Fury is up)/etc can actually make use of it. It makes Retribution not nearly useless on them since they can actually quickly reach said location.

*cough* Trickster *cough*

That kind of a mindset was exactly why Spirit got nerfed, though.
"She has no counterplay! She's stupid-easy to use! No skill! Free wins! Broken OP!"
And not one of those people ever actually played her. They never saw how incredibly difficult tracking by sound actually is. How easy it was for survivors to fake-out, juke, and run down your phasing. How much skill it takes to be able to predict where scratch marks are going and where the survivor actually is in relation to the wild swarm of garbage.
But no. People just complained a ton and Spirit got pretty heavily nerfed. She WOULD'VE got even harder nerfed, but one of the intended nerfs bugged out and the Devs took too long to fix it before the stats came back to show that, yeah, the current nerfs do plenty to gut her.
tl;dr - Whining about killers has an unreasonably high success rate in effectuating nerfs, so people will keep doing it forever.

Dude... THANK YOU! Nurse is based on the skill of the PLAYER NOT THE SURVIVOR. A nurse with 3500 hours is a monster period!

I mean, it's not untrue. If a nurse can reliably hit her blinks, there is no counterplay. Even if you out mindgame her on first blink, they just correct with a second blink and now even a third one. True, she's hard to get that good with, but many people are. It doesn't matter if you break LOS or mindgame, that second blink is always going to be there to correct their misread on the first blink. Unless your default build consists of IW/Q&Q/DWM/DH, you're not going to be able to do much at all.
It's often said that survivors don't juke Nurse, she just misses her blinks.
0 -
“If a nurse can reliably hit her blinks”, you mean, the blinks that rely on her winning her mindgames? If she’s reliably winning every mindgame, she SHOULD be hitting her blinks. The survivor needs to get better at not being so easily read.
Yeah, and that saying is also wrong. Something being commonly said is literally irrelevant. People commonly said the earth was flat in the past too.
2 -
"If a killer can reliably win a match, there is no way to defeat them"
It's not untrue statement, but plain stupid.

I really hope the flood of Nurse players stops because I'm really starting to dislike playing against her at this point. Also always seems to be bloodlodge or autohaven against Nurses too...

I have no idea where you're pulling those words from. Certainly not my comment.
0 -
I definitely enjoyed playing the game more while she was disabled. I'll leave it at that.
0 -
Did you read my comment at all? Even if she loses the initial mindgame, the second or third blink allows them to correct their misread. Hence, if they can reliably hit blinks, they will score the hit, even if they initially misread the mind game. Mind gaming is eliminated after the first blink. Subsequent blinks are just correcting.
"Even if you out mindgame her on first blink, they just correct with a second blink and now even a third one" you literally just didn't read. "Reliably" in the meaning of distance

Torn Bookmark is bad design. You can mindgame both blinks. You also don’t have to mindgame both blinks if the first one isn’t in range of you or needs to be used to regain LOS first. Do you need someone to help teach you mindgaming?
