Incapacitated status and dead hard nerf idea
Incapacitated in its current form prevents survivors from interacting with
- Repairing Generators
- Sabotaging Hooks
- Using Items
- Interacting with other Survivors
- Cleansing Totems
I think that also include vaulting windows and pallets, as well as dropping pallets. Then, make dead hard incapacitate the user for 7/6/5 seconds after use. This would retain dead hard's use as a skillful dodging perk, but get rid of its most annoying use, free distance to chain a pallet or vault that you wouldn't have made otherwise.

I think that putting all those under incapacitated would be far too much, basically Survivors could do nothing and might as well just stand still. There's already perks present from the killers side to block pallets and windows - including the Entity blocker, and those can be freely used.

Just... why. Dead Hard is annoying yes nut a status effect other than gaining madness and being exhausted should be the only ones. If you hate dh that much you can run fear monger or blood echo to force exhaustion

So you basically want to turn dead hard into an auto down button. Because there's no way a killer won't just hit you within the next 5 seconds.
I get people hate dead hard but can you guys for once not suggest changes to make the perk useless.

No, I read wrong. Something is wrong about that DH nerf idea.

Better to simply remove DH at that point.

Y'know... when I started reading this, I figured you were going to take it in the direction of "Incapacitated Survivors cannot activate Exhaustion perks." Which... honestly sounds pretty nifty. Maybe something to look into and would make Huntress's Incapacitated Add On better and make keeping Victor in chase a lot more problematic.
What I didn't think you'd go for is turn incapacitated into a death sentence and make Dead Hard inflict it.
