I feel as though there are too many hooks on the maps.

As killer it's usually pretty easy to find a hook, as they're everywhere and with some exceptions, you will rarely have any time to struggle as survivor, because there's usually a hook right around the corner. I think it would be good if they went through and reduced the amount of hooks on each map and space them out better. And not a ton fewer either, just like 3-5 hooks depending on the map size and layout.

The whole point to have "that many hooks" is to avoid the "exceptions" case you stated. Because any exception will be heavily abused by survivors, that will simply end up running in a corner of the map so they can wiggle off if you try to grab them.

Struggle by yourself, as survivor, isn't supposed to be a common thing. There's enough ways for survivors to escape the killer grasp already, aka bodyblocking, pallet stunning, Decisive Strike, Flashlights.

I'm definitely not saying that they should be reduced to the point where struggling out becomes commonplace but like just a few less of them, while being better spaced out.would be nice. Spacing them out better could fix the issue of going into a corner and being able to wriggle out and similar issues, and if it doesn't, I wouldn't mind them increasing the amount of time to struggle to prevent this. I get where you're coming from, my point is just that it feels like the number of hooks could be reduced a little with them being spaced out over the map a bit better.

Seems like devs listened to you :
Changed the number of hooks for each map to be based on its number of tiles (Total Tile Count / 3)
