Sadako officially my favorite killer now

I admit I am addicted to this killer. Win lose or draw, I almost always have fun in every match. She brings such an unpredictable factor that makes going on random chases so fun, just ping pinging around and slugging/popping back up when you're least expected.

Although she could probably use a buff or two, I haven't had this much fun playing killer in a while, and I have to be greatful to BHVR for that. Thanks for making adding some much needed excitement to the game!

Yeah, it seems like there’s a bit of a consensus forming she’s more fun to play than some of the other stealth killers but could maybe still use a tweak. She’s basically on par with Wraith, personally I think she’s just slightly better than him and other tier lists I’ve seen put her just below him but it’s pretty close.

She's surprisingly fun. I tend to dislike playing stealth Killers but she is pretty fun

I definitely think she's better than wraith because of

    A. Faster uncloak

    B. Better map coverage

And C. Her lullaby is less obvious than Wraiths heavy horse breath, and I'd argue his shimmer is easier to keep track of up close, making stealth during chase less practical

I do think Sadako needs a thing or two, but she isn't vastly held back. I've played against strong teams where I got 1-0K, but I've played plenty where I got 4-3 as well, more 4K's than 0K's for sure. Shes fairly consistent, but personally I wish small things, like Clump of hair, were base kit. Maybe reduce her visual cloak range to 18 by default, then nerf the add-on to 4 meters or make it rare? Not sure there. If not that, maybe a better speed curve from TV's or something.

I’m not sure that she needs any further buffs. She’s very smooth to play. Her addons feel great across all rarities. And she’s spooky.

You always have Demanifest, it isn't anti-loop but to say it isn't a good chase tool for her is short-sighted.

Maybe against people who dont know what they are doing, I personally haven't been mindgamed by demanifestation once, I have mindgame some survs with it but they were nowhere near decent at the game.

Ok, and if she leaves the for 5 seconds? Where did she go? What if she TP's to a TV across the stage or more than 16 meters away, are you going to camp the pallet all day while she might be making a hit on another survivor? What if someone is on hook and now she's on her way back to slug?

You might as well ask "what if killer pix nurse?" With how much if a forgone conclusion you seem to think pallets are. If it weren't for DH and strong Healing, Sadako would be A-tier without a doubt. Most of the things that hurt her hurt all killers (and many more than her). But I doubt you've been playing much Sadako after a few loses. I played her against those strong survivors at top MMR, all IRI 1 by the 15th of the month.. I don't lose more to them than I do with most killers. Hag might even be weaker than her in current meta, and that's almost blasphemy coming from me

That's probably because most people playing Sadako (from my experience) aren't used to trying to use stealth in chase, because for most killers outside of Spirit, cloaking and uncloaking in chase loses you too much time.

Also, it's not supposed to just win every pallet interaction. That's the whole reason so.eone like spirit got nerfed, their invis power was too in their favor. Sadako can be just as difficult to predict at some loops, and TL walls are usually a piece of cake that survivors never can feel to safe at.

Unless you 4K with nurse every single game, I don't get why you would think a killer not having 100% 0 counterplay would be good. Hell, even the best nurses face counterplay, they don't win every pub match, let alone Tournament level.

You can barely call her a stealth killer, as her stealth is absoloute toilet.

Her stealth beats ghost face and Pigs easily, she is harder to see, faster uncloak, and her kit isn't as one dimensional. I'd argue she's better than wraith even, he just has ok invisibility that most of the time can't even get him a free hit because of how crap his windstorm affect is now.

Honestly the only stealth killer I'd argue is outright better in stealth is Spirit, but she doesn't have amazing mobility and without MDR, poorer ability to out-position survivors as you can't be sure where they are 100%

Tl walls can be played as any m1 killer effectively tho, so no need to even use demanifestation unless you wanna do some tricky stuff.

I heavily disagree on sadakos unpredictability, she is an m1 killer, can't dash can't rush, she is limited to normal speed, so in a loop she is as predictable as a wraith, imo both shimmer and demanifestation are as easily identifiable, even if she tps mid chase to confuse you, you can still position yourself in a safe spot ready to loop again, and if she is not going for you just hop on a gen, there is not that much technique to dunk on her.

I also played some more games with her than usual.

I like her and all the sound effects.

Against the real good teams you have problems with most killers. So no problem there. I did pretty well in my last games.

She can go to another survivor or hook at anytime during the chase.. But ok, I get it, she's not everybodies favorite, I said she's my current favorite and I'm still having a blast with her either way.

How many pigs are using her ambush at loops when people hold W? GF is a weak killer because you can see him even with his red stain gone, and again just hold W. Myers is considered by many the worst killer in the game.

I'll give you wraith, save for he's considered awful now because of his nerfs, regardless of the strongest way to play him.

Either way, Sadako is my favorite current killer, it doesn't matter if you have a different opinion than I do on her.
