Booning speed
So... booning a hex takes 24 seconds. But booning a dull totem takes 16 seconds... while cleansing a hex or a dull totem takes 16 seconds. I find it odd that only booning a hex is penalised. It would make more sense, to me, if booning in general (or working on a hex in general) had a speed penalty.

Makes sense to me. You're both booning a totem and cleansing its Hex. If anything, it should take longer (32 seconds) if normal cleansing and booning take 16 seconds.

On the PTB there was no penalty for blessing a hex totem so it was added because it was silly that a survivor could have their cake and eat it too. There needed to be a reason for a survivor to opt to cleanse a hex totem rather than bless it. I don’t see why we would need to penalize cleansing hexes as well when it was never like that before boons and would defeat the purpose of the existing blessing penalty.
Also, the existing penalty is actually larger than that - the timings are 14 seconds to cleanse any totem or bless a dull totem, but blessing a hex totem actually takes 28 seconds. The devs said it was 24, but this was incorrect and it has been 28 seconds since the day boons went live.

A little correction: 14 seconds base for cleansing and blessing, and 28 seconds for blessing a hex. Both can be modified by a few perks.
I don't think it needs a slower base speed, but wouldn't mind if they updated various perks on both sides to effect blessing speed as well.

So it is double, then.

Yeah it is. And it should be.

I think booning should always be slower than cleansing. Would also help with infinite rebooning since it would be time consuming.
