How can I report another player?

Hey, so I'm on ps4 and I had a very, very toxic teammate that I'd like to report.

I recorded it on my play station, I would like to be able to report.

I have never done it before, but this player was just so petty that I thought I'd match it.

What do you mean when you say they were toxic? Are you sure it was a reportable offense?

a report needs an in-game report, otherwise it will be ignored. To report in-game you use the button right next to their BP score etc on the endgame screen, there you can report for the appropriate category. If it is for chat harassment that would be enough as the chat-log would be automatically attached to this in-game report (but I guess since you are in console that’s not the case). If it’s for DC/ragequit I think it’s also enough to just make this in-game report.

For any other reports you need to file an additional player report ticket to support (link below). There you need to fill in the info you have, for the Steam Id you can also type in the gamertag from other platforms but maybe mention in the description which platform you played on and if the reported player was crossplay or not. The clip should be uploaded to YouTube or something similar as the files would be too large for the website I think. You can then give the link in the description of the ticket.

well. Couldn’t be more confusing I guess. And I really really hope they will rework the report system… or at least give a better and easy to find description..

I guess this would count as working with the killer which would be reportable. The teabagging and stuff isn’t reportable on its own (though I agree that sounds annoying and extreme)

you can upload it as an unlisted video on YouTube and just attach the link in the ticket on the website that I gave you. Then it’s only viewable for the support people and not for the forum so it doesn’t have anything to do with forum rules.

I did the in-game button, but that didn't give me a link to report further.

yeah it doesn’t do that sadly. Just use the link from me above.

    Thanks for answering.

Well, this person decided to bring the killer to me and followed me around with the killer behind and pointing at me with the flashlight.

I eventually went down and got hooked, another teammate unhooked me (I think this is important because the toxic player was already teabagging and flashing the light at me) the killer downed and killed, then me again and I went on my second hook. The killer stood there while this player that had taken the killer to me, was tea bagging me and flashlighting me while I was hooked until I died.

This player also baited out several rescue attempts.

    Is that reportable?

I did the in-game button, but that didn't give me a link to report further.

If I upload it to YouTube, it will show this person's name, is that allowed?

I know the forum has this rule of no naming and shaming, would that be a problem?

Well, thank you so much. I'll see how I can get this done. I'm not versed in these things.

The teabaggimg as such wasn't the issue, it was more of a: I'm here, but I'm going to to this instead of unhooking you because I want you to die on hook since I've been purposely trying to get the killer to catch you.

Luckily, I don't encounter these kind of players that often.
