Anti-heal Hex idea!

My idea is for a hex the slows down healing by 10% after a survivor has been hooked.

For as long as this hex is up, every survivor that you hook grants you a token. Every token equals a stacking 10% slowdown to healing until the hex is cleansed for a max of 10 tokens. At 10 tokens all survivors will have the broken status effect applied until the hex is broken.

when the hex is cleansed, all injured survivors will have the broken status effect applied to them for 30 seconds.

    I like your idea to an extent but with boon meta I can promise you that hex would either be found and gone. I know that this is not always the case (looking at you devour hope) but it happens when there is a hex. The other thing is that Pentamento (I think I spelt that right) already has a slow down to healing. Pin head's Scourged hook also gives a debuf to gens and healing once healed off it. Also 10 tokens may be excessive to get even if it takes a little longer to heal.

    Yes yes this CAN be stacked with other anti healing perks buuuttt who cares. It’s a hex and similar to devour it’s next to useless until mid to late game. Also, totems will actually need to be destroyed AND have two pentimento’s for an OP stacking to happen which seems rare.

    the ten tokens is high BUT at ten they’re broken…bc -100% is basically broken status.


    also, pin heads scourge hook….only applies the slowdown once. Basically a sloppy butcher scourge hook but the description says “On the first hook”

    By the time you get 10 tokens there'd be no point really since it'd be impossible for there to be more than 2 survivors left at that point.

    It'd be strong at 3-5 stacks or more but it wouldn't get there very often since it'd reveal itself to survivors as soon as you get 1 and they try to heal. It'd probably play out similar to huntress lullaby except it'd be better than that perk because it wouldn't entirely rely on missed skill checks.

    The 30 seconds of broken is just silly though. You have an anti-heal hex which punishes you for breaking it by...making you unable to heal? I don't get that part of it.

    The broken effect after it being cleansed is similar to Hex: retributions second effect of showing auras of all survivors for 15 seconds after IT is cleansed, so I wouldn’t call it silly. Also only already injured survivors at the time of cleansing would be broken and only for a bit.


    also, it’s usefulness AT 10 stacks doesn’t really matter.

    I guess to appease everyone you could make it 5 stack max. 20% slowdown to healing each stack.
