Doctors static blast or whatever is still donked up, please fix soon
On pc with The Doctor, this happens nearly once a match every time, I'm approaching a generator, theres a survivor that is or just barely was working on it, i charge and release my mega static whatever, and it does nothing. Its happened when there were multiple people on a gen, both with and without the gen being completed immediately after, its happened with a single survivor on a gen, both with them currently on and recently ran away from the generator, it feels like a cointoss for whether it triggers or not.
I think its gotta be some generator perk that messes with whatever the static kablooie relies on to whether it should afflict a survivor. Every time there has been a survivor (at least i think i dont really know for sure) that wasnt working on the gen and didnt have whatever it was that makes them invulnerable to the ability, its shocked every survivor in the radius. I'd like to play the doctor more but unless its just some rng thing i dont know about that disables its effect or generators being also electrically charged things warding off the thing for some reason that isnt explained its broken and you guys gotta fix it cuz i reported this like months ago and nothing has changed

That's just how it works. Stealth perks on Doc have to be worked around, some perks work better or worse with certain killers. That's part of the fun,
It's not as bad as it sounds, you can only SB once per minute, so save it a few more seconds. If you catch them at a gen using tinkerer, they're not going to have time to get out of your radius when it returns.
I generally go the opposite, I'll cover the whole map with Doc's terror radius if I can.
Edit: also don't feel bad, I once tried Insidious Doc, I was gonna hide and zap everyone. Just stood there and zapped nobody, over and over.

Static Blast's range is tied directly to your terror radius, so while perks like Tinkerer will make it ineffective, you can also use it to your advantage with anything that increases your terror radius (most notably the Calm series of addons, which increase your terror radius while static blast is ready and then decrease it while it's on cooldown).
