CAN BAN FOR DC?

Can they ban for doing DC?
Because I have a lot of time in the game, I've seen killers doing dc, I've seen survivors doing dc, I've disconnected and the last time I disconnected a player told me "I'll report you for doing dc"

I remember when the players complained about the campers, the devs responded "Camps is a game style and we have an insidious perk" which makes me suppose, the game has a "Pause" menu where there is an option "Leave Match" if this option is because you are free to leave the game at the time you want, as well as leave for the reasons you have regardless of whether the other players are or not agree.

The question is, is it legal or illegal to disconnect? They may or may not ban me? That option (Leave Match) is only for?

    If you DC over a certain percentage of your matches you can get banned. No specific number/% was given though (likely to avoid people cheesing the system), but there was a banwave that went out not too long ago for it. 
    So uh. Maybe don't DC so much. Once and awhile won't do anything because they know real life things happen but if you just rage quit because salty, eh you deserve what happens.

    They will ban if you DC to much, the leave options is for emergencies.
