What instrument is used in Joey’s Mixtape?

I’m loving the legion changes so far, especially with their new chase theme, but I can’t really tell what Joey’s main instrument is in his mixtape. Obviously Julie & Susie have electric guitars, and Frank has extra percussion, but Joey’s almost sounds like a synthesizer? But also might be another guitar? Music nerds please help.
