Rotten Pumpkin Rework
Seeing the new Never-Sleep Pills and Prayer Tablet Fragment makes me eager for more direct side grade add-ons that change how the killer plays. Here is a proposition for Demogorgon's Rotten Pumpkin:
Pumpkin flesh infected by the rotten soil in Hawkins.
- Traversing the Upside Down destroys the Portal entered by The Demogorgon.
- Exiting the Upside Down blocks All Windows and Vault locations within 32 meters of the Portal for Survivors for the duration of the Of the Abyss cooldown. The Aura of the blocked Vault locations are revealed to you for the duration.
- Grants 200 bonus Bloodpoints for traversing the Upside Down.
Rotten Pumpkin allows you to destroy and move your own Portals, an effect that Demogorgon was unable to do. However, the Add-on is not as strong, as while it's utility is nice, it takes more than it gives in most cases. Building in Claustrophobia into the add-on should be interesting, as it provides some chase assistance after portaling. It at most would last 10 seconds, as that is the current cooldown of Of the Abyss.

The last two designed, Prayer Tablet Fragment and Never Sleep Pills don't. Why can't all the memes be buffed to their level. If there's something overpowered about what I listed, I'd love to read it. Why shouldn't all add-ons be some what viable?

I just want Demo to have a base kit way to destroy his own portals, but not by needing to go through them. Don’t get why that isn’t a thing, it’s not like he has an unlimited amount to place everywhere. Your only option being an add-on that requires traveling through the portal is stupid.

Fair. How do you think he should be able to destroy them? By cycling the portals like Hag does her traps?

Great question! While it could work that way, I think his case is kind of different than her traps. My first impression is it could be an alternate button the same as when you view a portal to go through, and still put the power on cool down (to balance it out, not to mention it already has a fast base cool down and there are add-ons to make it even quicker).

So you'd have to be over a portal and highlight the "destination" portal, then choose to either teleport or destroy? Both have the same cooldown? That sounds pretty interesting and fair. You should make this an individual post suggesting a way for Demogorgon to have a better QOL with a way to destroy his own portals!

I also hated this add-on when it came out. I tried it once, but it was just too bad. All killer add-ons should be useful. None should be meme add-ons.
