Perk Randomizer Game Mode

Hey BHVR

I just read a idea for a game mode below a DBD video that I honestly find quite funny and interesting.

A game mode, in which neither survivor nor killer are allowed to choose their perks, but the game randomizes the perks for all 5 players.

This could be a nice change from the meta that has stayed the same forever, and each player would have to try and make the most out of the perks the game gave them.

I could imagine that playing this way can be quite fun and varied.

As I said, this is not for normal gameplay but would be a great game mode and we really need new game modes besides the normal gameplay to spice the game up.

An "All-Random" perks mode is pretty much the only variant version of DBD that I've heard of that sounds compelling to me. The primary constraint would be how to make sure everyone's perk pools are sufficiently large enough to participate? For example, if you pick a survivor who you only have their own teachables unlocked on, since you're a very new player, you probably wouldn't get much out of it. Alternatively, if you're a survivor who only has the free characters and do not want to purchase any DLC - even with all of the free character's teachables, would that be enough perks to have a sufficiently random experience?

Dude, it's supposed to be a casual game mode. No competitive game mode.

It doesn't matter if you have the best perks or not, and it doesn't matter if you win every game or not.

It should just be for fun, play with what you have, just casual.

The sweatlords can play the normal gameplay with pure meta.

Alternatively, in this game mode they could unlock all the perks for all players without grinding through a blood web. So every player would have all the perks and the game could then randomize more easily.

Again... it's not meant to be normal gameplay. If you want to grind and sweat, you can play the whole normal main queue. There should also be no BP, it should just be a game mode for in between.

So lets say I want to try the game? I'm not allowed to teabag and sweat as either killer or survivor?

    I like an ARAM mode.

I'd also love it if the que was blind - all players have a 20% chance of being a killer.

All DLCs unlocked - killers and survivors also have random items/attachments.

Everyone just gets cued up, MMR matched, then one of the 5 is chosen to be a random killer. Everyone gets random perks at tier 3.

Best part about this is people will be encouraged to actually play the other side and try out new things. Sweaty people will hate it, because they wont always play their favorite side, get the perks they want, or the killer they want. However, casual players will not only get to have fun with 'free trials' of DLC perks and killers, but they will also gain insight onto what the 'other side' goes through.

Never know, Behavior may get some DLC sales out of this as players try new killers or perks and think to themselves - 'you know what, I like these things, I'm going to keep them!'
