High rank SWF with low rank killers
I love playing as both killer and survivor. Yes, survivors are stronger as a team. When they work well together, killers' job gets hard. But that is fun to deal with when they are in your rank and skill range. The biggest problem with swf is one or two red rank survivors team up with a beginner and gets into your rank 10 or lower rank lobby. Also yes, I might be a bad killer, but still I think I deserve to be able to play with players in my skill range. It takes one high rank survivor to mess up your game. You notice after few pallets and endless loops that is an experienced survivor and leave the chase, but you can't. Now you have that survivor following you around like an imprinted duck. Never lets you hit another survivor, blocks you, flashlight the sh** out of you, and good old fashioned making constant noises somewhere to distract you. After they play every trick on you and the gates are powered you think it is over and they would leave, but no. Because you are an "eezz" killer they spread around and make the map their home like they are never gonna leave. If it is one or two games at a time you might tolerate, but I get 4 out of 5 games like these match ups. When you never even passed rank 8 and get matched with rank 2 players, it is neither fun nor educating in my opinion. Personally, I would like to see that swf would match not according to their means, but with the highest rank of the group. I wonder how many of them still would like to survive with their lowest rank friends. These screenshots are the only recent ones to give an idea if you hadn't had a problem like mine in the game.

See normally I don't mind when that happens to me as i know I am a good killer but when I first started I had the same thing every game, unfortunately people do this because they can't handle the rank they reach so they purposely find ways to get low ranked killer.., BUT on the plus side devs are always getting told of different loop holes people like that use so they can stop it best they can, plus they are looking to change match making very soon

Happens to me every other game on average, no stretch; at least one red rank or sometimes 2 purple ranks in with the greens. And they know what they're doing... they tend to come in to interact with you intentionally the moment they can find you in order to become the distraction, grab those chase BPs, and run you for a few gens. I've gotten much better at putting them to rest ASAP, but if they're running circles around you for now I suggest just switching to another target, tap them when they're in view and an easy hit but otherwise focus on the rest, else they'll take you for a ride the entire time. They'll probably follow you around trying to distract you; don't let it mess with your head.
Sometimes they're an easy down (like mentioned above, a higher-ranked person who can't play in their rank so they think dropping down with SWF will let them bully newer killers), but that doesn't tend to be the rule but rather the exception. Usually a bit of a mind screw to their SWF buddy(ies) when you can kill them before the first gen is done and the entire game snowballs from there, but until you can snuff that flame ASAP just focus on the weaker targets or your BP and pips are going to suffer in a big way.

The way this is handled is so backwards. SWF already gives a large advantage to survivors. It makes no sense to put a group that contains high-ranking survivors with a low-ranking killer. That's not fair on the killer at all.
The low-ranking survivor is choosing play with their high-ranking friend. The high-ranking friend will be helping them. If the low-ranking survivor doesn't want to play against a high-ranking killer, that's easy enough to fix: play with other low-ranking friends. The killer has no such choice, they have no control over who ends up in their lobby. Many killers already struggle with SWF groups. Making a killer deal with an SWF group with survivors who are far out of their league is just cruel.
This screenshot is from yesterday. It makes no sense that the game would put those survivors in my lobby. Matches like this aren't fun and the whole thing is really frustrating. It can't be fun for the survivors, either, going up against a killer who presents no challenge.
This really needs to be fixed.

There aren't really any good options for SWF groups with large gaps in skill level. I'm basing these points off of a R1, R5, R20, R15 group, as this would find killers in the mid ranks. Here are the options that I can think of:
-Not allow SWF
This would kill the game, as many people only like to play with their friends. There's as many (or more) good uses for SWF as there are bad ones, and this would choke the game.-Allow only like-ranked survivors to play together
This would be very similar as the above one. It would fix one problem, but create others.-Takes the median rank between the survivors and chooses a killer closer to the highest rank in the group
This would create too many killers getting unintentionally boosted to the upper ranks when they shouldn't be there based on their skill level. The upper ranks would be filled with a huge mix of mid-upper ranks as opposed to upper ranks only. The rank system is already outdated for how the game has evolved and has been for a number of years. This might break it even more.-Takes the median rank between the survivors and chooses a killer closer to the middle rank <-- current system
This one punishes middle rank killers, but also prepares them for how rank 1 survivors play. Overall, it's not ideal.-Takes the median rank between the survivors and chooses a killer closer to the lowest rank
This one would destroy lower rank killers before they even got a chance to get a grasp on the game. That's no fun for anyoneNone of them are great for the game and I can only hope that the long promised new ranking system will be coming out soon.

I should have blacked out that names like yours, shouldn’t I. Is it too late now? I still took screenshots pretty much after every single game. Because apparently there is nobody playing in my rank so I always get red ranks. I know I am not the first or the last killer who gets bullied on daily basis. But it is nice to have similar opinions out there. Gives me hope to think maybe it would change someday.
Eh, I figure your images were fine the way they are since they're cut off. My image is wider and would show the full names.
Yeah, it's good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. Hopefully the devs will take heed and fix it.
Players say to target the weakest, but in my game the weakest survivor was still 3 ranks above me. I mean, even just looking at their perks, they had mostly tier 3 perks while I had only tier 1 and tier 2 perks. Matches like this are stacked against the killers, and if the devs want killers to keep playing, then they need to try to keep matches from being so miserable. SWF are chatting with their friends and having fun, while the killer is all alone just trying to end with more than a few thousand BP.
I really think SWF groups with high-ranking survivors should be ranked with high-ranking killers. Any low-ranking survivors in the group are getting help from their friends, while the killer has no such benefit. The killer can't influence the rank of the survivors in their lobby, but an SWF group can influence the rank of the killer they get with who they have on their team.
Another solution might be to handicap SWF groups, like for each member they have one fewer perk. Not sure how much that would change things, but I've seen that idea mentioned before.
