Hook auras not showing

I've noticed on both playing and watching vids that whenever killers pick up survivors that the hooks within several metres do not show their auras.

As far as I am aware, this should only happen if a survivor has the perk "Boil Over", but this seems to be happening with every survivor, regardless which perks they are using.

Please may this be looked into.

    The game is coded in a way that if you're 3 meters within a hook the hook doesn't show.

    We'll probably never know if it's a bug or a feature.

    A hook that is visible normally doesn't show its aura, nor do those right next to the killer
