NoWayOut should NOT activate when the last survivor gets the hatch closed.

Then don’t complain if the killer bodyblock the hatch, forcing you to either DC or repair a generator

You have cringe logic dude.

It’s you who complain about NWO without telling everyone that your main strategy is to camp the exit gates
Same logic as people who wanted lightborn nerfed, because too "op" against flashlights. You had two 2nd chances, you lost get over it.

I wouldn’t call it that- especially now since it’s no longer a win and just a draw. Because of the solo que element, its needed to give a lone player (that tried his or her best to play in the spirit of the game) a chance, when his 3 SWF teammates were too busy trying to bully the killer and all died. That’s just one example, but there are different variations of it. At least the 1 good player doesn’t get completely punished for 3 idiots. Plus he still has to find it first.
But as far as No Way Out not triggering when the hatch is closed by killer? I disagree. Leave it as is. I hate when it happens to me, but I take my medicine. Kudos to the killer for bringing it. It’s a high risk high reward perk, and he deserves to have it pay off in the end game.

And the survivor might have worked hard as well that's why they are the last one alive, so?
And just because a situation is already difficult, doesn't make it impossible.

It’s not impossible to win against NWO. Also, remember that if you are the last survivor alive, it means that the 3 other survivors died against a killer with only 3 perks active.
So, you were unable to repair the gen against a killer with 3 active perks maximum + you were unable to find the hatch and you still want another easy way of escaping ? Lol, no. I know it is going to sound cliché but get good please.

Getting hatch shouldn’t count as a legit escape. Also you strike me as the kind of person that DESPISES a late bloodwarden trigger.

It technically doesn't. You don't gain or lose MMR if you hatch escape.

It doesnt even counter hatch it counters the strat of 10%ing on a large enough map.
You can still find it first with and the killer can still close it without nwo. Nothing changes, really.

There is plenty of opportunity to open the gates in the EGC even with no way out, its hard though because you'll eat up 1/3 of the egc timer evading the killer for the 60s the gate is blocked.
Its kinda RNG dependent but that goes both ways if the gates are close it favours the killer, if the gates are spread it favours the survivor. Same as any RNG gate patrol.
The telling part of this is the phrase "robbed of an escape."
They weren't robbed of an escape, killer found hatch first then no way out worked as intended. The survivor failed to avoid the killer for its duration and died as a result.
There is a real mindset of players that somehow if its the endgame they deserve to escape, there are plenty of endgame mechanics that could prevent that. Unless you are out the gates you are still in play and anything can happen.
Just killing the survivors when the hatch closes is a joke right, how does that make things better? The high stakes endgame should be fun but the OP and many of the commenters here are too hung up on not escaping to have enjoyed the game at that point.
Coming to the forums to say "I don't like this because I feel robbed" is different from saying "I don't like this nerf it so I get what I want."

Who's gonna tell them that half the time the gate spawns on the same wall

You strike me as an toxic entitled killer main.

Coming from you. Talk to me when you get better.

Entitled to what? Toxic how? Elaborate.

That's his go to insult. Its kind of a cover all blanket I'm pissy about something in game and angry at everyone for pointing out how silly I am, response.

Oh I know. I just wanted the last word because I know he has no case.

Your an entitled toxic killer main too. Cry

You lost because your team couldn't do gens. Then afterwords couldn't find the hatch another means of escape. Then you get mad when the 3rd way to escape is made more difficult via a perk? Weird even from a survivor perspective (since lately i play a lot more survivor than killer). If nwo triggers i always acknowledged it as fair. Even when i know im probably dead. Go for a chase. Enjoy the time while you can. That's what i do. I turn the endgame to the "can i last longer than egc in chase". Chases are the fun of the game afterall.

this right here. It seems like some survivors only care about escaping rather than just having fun with the game.

How am I supposed to have fun in the game if toxic entitled killers don't give me hatch

As a former survivor main, straight up deal!!
I'll give you some extra: DS deactivates on Protection Hit.
(Still not sure why this has not been added yet...)

Yawn try again.
I play more survivor these days, like everyone else. Not that it matters.
My advice is stop being silly and just play the game, you clearly take this crap to seriously.

That line's a joke right?
If not then you have fun by not taking it so seriously and getting all pissy when you don't escape. Just because you died doesn't make it toxic.
If it is a joke then I tip my hat to you. Comedy always trumps tragedy when gaming.

It's not bait I hate playing against entitled toixc killers every killer is toxic that is why I play in a way that is toxic by using dead hard and forcing D's and clicking the killer
