Plague Pickup hitbox next to Pool Of Devotion

Perks Used: Corrupt Intervention, Dark Devotion, Barbecue & Chili, Distressing
Add-ons Used: Emetic Potion, Olibanum Incense
Map: Yamaoko Estate: Family Residence
Problem:
While playing plague If i downed a survivor who had been attempting to cleanse in the Pool of Devotion I would not get a pickup prompt to be able to grab them. Corrupt Purge was not in the Pool so there was no prompt to interact with the pool itself.
Eventually I had to just leave the survivor on the ground since i couldn't pick them up to hook them. The Survivor that I was not able to pick up was a Bill.
It seems to be if the surivor is to far under the pool when downed.
