New Mori Mechanic is Good But...
It should be optional. I mean if i wanna carry last survivor to hatch, i should have this option.
Do not hit them, run with them is bad design. Because chase musics are loud usually, sometimes i can not hear hatch. And plus carrying survivor to hatch is faster way.
It is not bad change for game but it seriously need to be optional, that's all it need.

Just make it optional, thats all I want

Agree, not just for hatch but also for other situations where hooks matter, eg. archives or killer adepts.
Otherwise I really like this change.

It needs to be automatic. As @ThiccBudhha pointed-out in another thread it means survivors waiting at the gates, wasting time, will still be at risk.
It's a very good change.

Something that came to my mind today was that with the new mori system we will see our fair share of cocky survs standing in the exit to taunt and get morid because they where to cocky and get downed because when it's automatic you can't fall into the gate ^^

Should just have a prompt pop up like LMB for Mori RMB to Cancel
Edit: in case put a timer to Auto Mori after like 10 seconds.

I personally feel that there should also be a mercy finisher mechanic if this goes through. It'd be fun that you get to choose. You are supposed to be the power role, after all.

You can still let the last person get the hatch, just don’t down them. However, the mori being automatic is useful because it prevents the last person from crawling out after a down if you don’t want them to escape, plus it eliminates the possibility you forget to do the mori animation if you like them.

This good idea lol. Click m1 for mori, click m2 for mercy.

New Mercy Animations for the Killers. Trickster gives the survivor a signed autograph etc...

I Hope the optional thing is implemented because I enjoy sometimes allowing the last to escape or do a little game with them with crawling to the exit. Heck, one time a survivor crawled their way across the map in one of my games and i gave them such props at end lol. This basically limits the games people load into for no real reason for a forced flashy ending. Also besides that i really respect when survivors some how make it up after a down and get out (Killer here wanting this to be optional) So this is an easy fix of just allowing the kill option to show upon downing like moris always have (i dont see any clear reason why not!)

This existed in BHVR's failed game Deathgarden, in the middle of the match, if the "survivor" (called Runner) was on "death hook", you could Mercy them, which would show an animation similar to another "hook" state. The game would resume and the "survivor" would be in another section of the map still playing the game.
The Mercy would grant the Killer (called Hunter) a massive amount of points.
...I miss that game.

Killer chooses mercy and then gets 20 missed calls from the Entity. 😥
Joking aside, I understand why folks want this feature to be optional, but it's really easy to just walk up to the final survivor and escort them to the hatch. It's my preferred way to do it since it's quicker, plus it's funny to chase a survivor and see how long it takes them to stop and realize I have no intention to hit them.
I know giving the hatch is a somewhat sacred act within the community, but the option is not being removed here.
Though 🤔I suppose it couldn't hurt as an options menu toggle for players who want to auto-mori vs. killers who want a prompt.

No. It's a very bad very dumb change. You're never going to kill the Survivor at the gate with this. That's absolutely irrelevant.

Except did you watch? They literally fall first, then die. They'll fall out before it triggers.
And even if they don't, you'll get this for a few games for maybe a week, then never again. Because they'll just tbag until you're close and then Dead Hard out before you hit them.

And? Would still be funny.
I always thought it's hilarious how they stand there like the bravest soldiers taunting death but in reality they are never in danger because freedom is just one step away

The ones that actually let you hit them, the ones who could possibly die to this, are literally the ones being nice. They're staying to give your a few last points and Emblem progress.
The toxic Survivors leave before you can hit them.

Except I will. I only need to down the last one and it's good.
It's not like I've not downed survivors inside the gates many times already.
Now they will have an incentive to not linger.

Without a doubt - it should be optional at the very least.
Making it non-optional is a direct downgrade to the user experience in just about every case.

OOOOFFFFFFF I WOULD 200% LOVE THIS

on the other hand, I want that the final.mori has a different animation from the normal mori

actually it's the other wya around.
The ones nice leave fast, the toxic ones stay on the gates teabagging until you get close and they leave
0 -
No. The indifferent or distrusting ones leave fast. The nice ones stay, don't tbag, and let you hit them before they leave. The toxic ones stay, tbag, and then Dead Hard out so you can't hit them.
