Can AFK survivors stop exploding?
As players, we have all been there. The loading screen bugged or we took too much time in the bathroom while waiting for the game. For whatever reason, sometimes it is understandable to go AFK, for that reason it's not always the fairest choice to just down and hook the AFK survivor. The problem is, with the explosion noise notifications it's just impossible not to get bothered by an AFK survivor, basically forcing you to kill them to get your silence. Can't we make it so that instead of a noise notification, we get to see the survivor's auras so they get less annoying?

My "rule" as a killer is to hook them once and then leave them alone
If by the time they've been unhooked that they still haven't returned and now their husk is sitting there being annoying, they had their chance and I'm ending this

But seriously, yeah, this is really annoying. I prefer to down AFK survivors so they don't really progress towards leaving the game but I still profit off of their vulnerability, but the constant banging in the distance gets on my nerves and I always cave and hook them. By the time they've got crows again and it's their second hook, I'm past the grace period where I expect them to come back and I have no problems yeeting them out of the game, but the first 90s could easily be someone in the bathroom or getting a package at the door.

While it definitelly can happen for good reasons, most of the people who are afk are just people who did something else like YT or something like that.
If i see someone is afk, i will hook him.
If he is still afk when he gets unhooked, i will hook him again.

hook them. they still sit afk grab em on your next lap and hook em again. They want to drag the team down being afk you should have the time.

By the time you clicked ready, you gotta be ready - there is nothing "unfair" to hook/kill that afk survivor - if an "emergency" forces you to leave the PC you can still afford the second to press alt+f4

I like to run agitation, so i take them into my arms and go zoomin.
If they're back, they can just wiggle out, but until then, they're my backpack

Can't we just Mori them and share the BP with the other survivors, cause surely it's no one's fault but the AFK person.

I had a demo do this to me.... Only I wasn't afk, my controller somehow desynced from my Xbox and it wouldn't allow me to sync back together. Needed to hard reset. I didn't want to DC though because the demo looked so cute with a nea backpack. It was a 30 minute meme game lmao

It's a regrettable necessity - far too often, people will rage AFK rather than DC, and will just climb into a random locker somewhere on the map and Alt-Tab out or something.
If it wasn't for the notification, you'd literally never find them.

Well it's less about being polite to the AFK person and more to being polite to the three bastards stuck with the useless turd of a teammate.
Although usually if I do get the AFK person hooked and killed, I treat it like an immediate disconnect, which brings out nice farmer Tippy who exclaims that it ain't much but it's honest work

I got ya, it ruins the match for everyone, so I will usually toy around with the remaining 3, let them do some gens and get unhooks...I play tons of surv and know how it feels so I try to be cool with the others but I am not giving the AFK any chance to play the match
they out, Ill even let the other farm them for unhooks while not hitting the unhooker. BUt I wont ignore the afk ever

It's because sometimes I want to have a normal game, which means a 4v1. If you kill a survivor early most of the times it just becomes a pointless game where you get to see how fast you can kill the other 3.
